Playing the Qur'an while sleeping — is this permissible?
🔹 Question: The sister has two questions. The first question she says: Sometimes I feel scared and frightened when I sleep alone in my room, so I have to play the Qur'an so I can sleep to its aayat. Is this permissible?
🔸 Sheikh Bin Baz rahimahullah answered: ❛I do not know of any problem with this, because the Qur'an is a comfort for the believer. And it is remembrance of Allah the Exalted, thus listening to it is worship. Therefore if the person needs to listen to it to remove the feeling of loneliness, and to relax his heart, then there is no problem with that. And all praises belong to Allah.❜
