a/n: this is weird idk, let me know if I should write more random stuff like this like I've did here and for party snacks.
- I'm not making fun of people who cant speak English or English isn't their first language, I'm dyslexic and cant speak English so it doesn't work if I were doing that.
All bold dialect are said in english otherwise it should be read as if its korean or something like that idk
“Wow, Hyung, she's really pretty.” Hyunjin tells Chan, looking at the girl across the room.
“You think so?” He asks following his gaze. “You should go talk to her, then?” He says, giving him the best advice he could at the moment. Hyunjin nods, he was spectacle of course but he decided to anyway. You never know what could come from just a simple hello, but would Hyunjin give a simple hello? God himself knows he wouldn't. Hyunjin drifted away from his friends to walk across the café and greet the pretty girl. He sat down across from him, his palms starting to get sweaty.
“You may fall from the sky, you may fall from a tree, but the best way to fall... is in love with me.” He pulls the dumbest pick up line he could think of abd hands it to her like dessert on a platter.
“What did you say?” The girls says. Huh? What gibberish was she speaking. Hyunjin never heard that slang before. He cocked his head to the side in confusion.
“Huh?”
“Oh! Sorry, I don't speak Korean.” She manages to remember from her few lessons. Hyunjin nods.
“English?” Hyunjin asks in his best attempts. She nods, smiling at the boys cute accent. He nods again before looking around for his friends. “Chan Hyung! Come here!” He calls over the king of Australia to translate his pick up line, it was too good for the pretty girl to not get to hear. “He speak english.” Hyunjin tells the girl, whos nods. His friend jogs over to the two.
“Yeah?” Chan asks.
“Can you translate for me?” He asks the older brother.
“Sure, does she not speak Korean?” Hyunjin nods to answer his question before reciting his pick up line. Chan laughs his little dork laugh, shaking his head.
“I’m not saying that!” He says laughing at the dumb remark. Hyunjin frowns.
“Please!” He begs for his hyung to make his wishes come true.
“Fine, Fine.” Chan says, not able to handle his friends begging. “I'm so sorry for this.” Chan tells the girl to make sure she braces herself. “He said, ‘You may fall from the sky, you may fall from a tree, but the best way to fall... is in love with me.’.”
Surprisingly, the girls laugh at his comment.
“Awe, he's funny. I wish I spoke Korean, I want to talk to him.” She says sadly. “I liked it!’ He manages to tell him in Korean, which he gave a proud smile.
Chan smiled at how happy his friend seemed. Though, the two boys were driven away from the question by the other boys calling their names. “Well, we’ve got to go. Thank you for entertaining his terrible pick-up line.” Chan tells the girl, who nodded happily, before he dragged his younger friend with him to the drink their coffees with the other boys.
