Hey so it occured to me that I actually have a couple of bio templates I made myself, would people like it if I made them available? 1 of them has a pastebin already, won’t be hard to add the other.

I’ve honestly just been itching to make some new bio templates lately, its challenging and fun! I need to work with code more, even stuff as simple as BBcode, considering I’m aiming to work in the gaming industry *sweats*

Working on bios today so I’m going to drop some resource links here for my own future reference. Feel free to reblog/save/etc. for your own use too!

Ink’s Bio Banners -- vertical, venue-based

100x100 round bio icons -- sorted by flight, huge variety

nara’s bio codes -- earth short 2 fits my needs & could be adapted to other flights/themes (uses the 100x100 icons)

Serpy+Natron’s Bio Buttons -- fake items based on vistas, scenes, more; some are broken

Delamire’s Bio Resources -- directory thread, pulls together a lot of different resources to scroll through

fairly neat bios -- lots of resources (both graphics and layouts), including avatar frames, verical banners, and fake achievements; great for single-paragraph bios

Bio Codes by 5inthemorning -- takes medium to long bios; I really like twinkle

Archaic’s bio codes & resources -- has options for short, medium, & long bios + bios made to work with vistas

Necra Bio Code Dump -- best for short bios, simple but nice, especially for plague themes

1 - ~2017 (old bio format)

2 - May 2019 Messed around with Arbor’s bio to see if I could get myself a format that’s more balanced AND doesn’t go nuts when viewed on mobile (rewrote his lore too, while I was at it). Success!!!

Big thanks to katasaur-fr, the clean sections in this template of theirs inspired me a bunch

3 - July 2019 This ain’t perfect, but it’s consistent on mobile!

4 - Nov 2019 This is the last time i overhaul my bio format. this is it. i mean it this time.

4 - Dec 2019 Listen …. this isn’t bad …. this might be worth changing 20 bios for …

6 - Jan 2020 Ideal bio format achieved!!! Does it still go a little whack on mobile? Yes. Does it succinctly convey basic dragon info (name/job/other quick-facts) at the top, leaving an easily adjustable space below for lore and friend-links? Also yes!!

7 - mid to late 2020? I got that sticky note box to work for me so cram it into the previous format I did! Add an accent color for all links and we’re actually done for real this time.
