I love this camphor and menthol muscle rub I bought! Not as icy as Biofreeze, definitely smells better. I smell like a cinnamon fall candle! Which is weird because cinnamon isn't even in the balm... At least I smell "festive" instead of "HEY I'M SLATHERED IN BIOFREEZE I WILL VICKS VAPORUB YOUR NOSE WHEN YOU HUG ME"...

There is nothing quite like the sensation of putting on biofreeze and then a minute or so later feeling random sections of your body start to get cold. Very strange.

spoonie needs advice!

Hi there, would you mind telling me what gels you use for pain? as well as or in place of pain killers I know many of us have gels and creams which ease muscular issues.

I've tried biofreeze, deep heat, tiger balms and ibuprofen and needing new supplies.

I've been recommended Aloe Heat Lotion which sounds ideal but is slightly pricey and wondered if anyone has any feedback on any of these or different suggestions?

I'm keen to try the gel Salonpas has, as I use their patches a lot. Do you prefer cooling or heating gels to numb pain? what is your go to cream that doesn't break the bank or have side effects if you use it liberally?
