Bob Dylan's career-spanning box set compilation was released on 7 November 1985.

A collection of album tracks, hits, and rarities, Biograph represented something from every Dylan album released to 1985 and 18 of the 53 tracks had been unreleased.

The box set peaked at #33 in the US and sold more than 1 million copies.

Griffin Dunne, looking at his crush Bob Dylan as Martin Scorcese looks on. In the comments section of this post, Dunne said Scorcese brought him to a release party for his album in 1985, at the Whitney Museum, though he couldn't remember which one.

I did some Googling, and found out it was for Biograph. There's some other pictures of Bob with Billy Joel and Christe Brinkley from that night.
