I want to take Biol 1500 but the date to add course without permission has passed. Do you guys know where should I go and talk to them about it? I don’t want to email cause it takes them forever to reply back and I need to get into the cours ASAP
Contact the professor of the course, you can still add a Fall course with the permission of the instructor by Oct 2.

would I be able to take bio 1500 when I have chem 1001 and phys 1410 b/c I guess bio 1500 doesn't have a lab component right?
You can take BIOL 1500 whenever you like, and yes it has no lab component.

Hi, I kind of messed up in high school and didn't take 12 U bio, I took it in grade 11 and I have past notes, etc from gr 12 BUT would I be able to take BIO 1000 without taking bio 1500 first b/c I really don't feel like wasting my time and everyone says both are similar? I am in a chem program btw.
Hi anon,
No you can’t unfortunately, you have to have grade 12U Biology or BIOL 1500 before taking BIOL 1000. If you enroll in BIOL 1000 without the prereq, then you will be de-enrolled from the course. BIOL 1500 is introductory Biology so I doubt it’s exactly the same as BIOL 1000, but it may have some similar concepts because that’s usually how Bio is.
