did you find bio 210 or 205 more difficult? Overall how did they compare and which one did you do better in?

I can’t really compare since I never took Biol 205! I took Biol 204 and Biol 210! I personally really liked them both, they’re both great courses…although I have a bit of a bias towards Biol 210 because I love plants more than animals =P.

i had my first biol 205 class yesterday and boy, it's a lot of work (it's extremely interesting though!!). currently taking 5 courses, but I think it's wise to drop one considering the amount of work I need to put for biol 205, not to mention chem 233. what do you think?

If you're a Biology major, make sure that you will have completed at least one of the organismal courses by the end of April! And that you will meet the promotion requirements! If you're okay, then there's no real harm in dropping 205 if you feel you have too much to handle! Just make sure all your promotion requirements for both your program and science are still going to be met if you drop it!

First day of school

Well, today went pretty well! The class is a satellite class, meaning the professor in Moscow has a webcam that feeds into our classroom here. Besides not being able to read her presentation (it was blurry), I enjoyed the material! It's Biology 205, an introduction to nutrition. Hopefully I catch on quick! The class here consisted of five other girls. I love small classes, you pick up on so much more of the material! My other class is online... Hopefully I can be disciplined with my studies so I don't fall behind!

Sadly, the University decided I didn't need my loan money until the end of this week. This SUCKS because I was told I'd get it on Friday, then today. Now they're telling me it won't come until next week! How am I supposed to buy my books? I am worried about this, but I have faith that it will all work out. :) Peace!
