Bree: 1000000% on board. trusts Kaz with her life even though she’d easily turn around and clock him in the face on a whim lol. it makes her happy that he makes Chase happy :)

Leo: he doesn’t know Kaz as much as Bree but they get along frighteningly (in the accidentally set fire to the penthouse way) well. and Leo knows big sis will tear Kaz limb from limb zero hesitation if he fucks up lol

Adam: the opposite of on board. for a very angsty and much less light-hearted reason that will be dissected in a later comic if I ever manage to finish it (emphasis on “if” lmao (if I don’t I’ll just write out the storyboard :D))

I’ll probably make character sheets for those who don’t have them yet eventually. also have a semi coherent plot going in my brain for the rewrite which is always fun :DD

I always had this idea Spin would take leadership of his own group one day and Chase would try to make him a better leader, but Spin would refuse his advice or overbearing help and become a slightly reckless leader. Any thoughts on that headcanon? (also if you're still taking requests idk if you are, a fic of Spin challenging Chase to question his leadership abilities would really be neat)

So I’m not going to write a full fic about this mainly because I wouldn’t know where to start and also I’m not great at Spin’s characterization, but I do think that this headcanon makes a lot of sense! Here’s how I think it would go down:

Spin is obviously significantly older, maybe fifteen, and is one of the top students at the Academy

They start breaking off into teams to go on missions since at that point most of the bionics are more well-trained, and Spin finds pretty quickly that he doesn’t like taking orders from other people and he loves being in command

So at one point Chase and Bree come back to check up on how things are going at the Academy and spend some time there. At first Chase is skeptical of Spin’s leadership abilities but a training simulation shows that Spin is actually pretty capable

Plus, Douglas points out that they actually have more in common than they think. While Spin is more reckless and Chase is more pragmatic, they have a similar sense of confidence that they’re always right

Chase decides to take it upon himself to mentor Spin but at first he’s a little too controlling. He tells Spin that he needs to think his decisions through in order to make the best choices for the good of his team and the mission

And Spin being Spin, he pretty much instantly rejects Chase’s advice and thinks he’s being underestimated

Then a mission comes along, and Spin is the first to volunteer his team to go

But things go south pretty quickly. Spin makes a rash choice that ends up putting himself and the whole team in danger and jeopardizing the mission. Luckily, Chase and Bree come to their rescue

Spin starts to understand that Chase was right in saying that he’s too reckless and doubts his capabilities as a leader

But Chase reassures him, saying that he made mistakes too when he was first starting out and that it just takes time and practice

He offers to mentor Spin again and promises to be less controlling, and Spin agrees
