The Bionicle Circulation! OC team the Voya Resistance! These matoran have taken it upon themselves to protect their world using their self-made skills and grit, making their suits and gadgets from scratch. They are self-proclaimed vigilantes who stop villains in their tracks!

Given it’s the 1st of April, I figured I would draw my manic Ko-Matoran Biotuber avatar from the Knowledge Tower in the Bionicle Circulation style by @bioniclechicken. Be sure to check out their stuff if you haven’t already, their comics / art are excellent.

With April coming up, if BC was a real anime what would be the You Say Run moment?

Several candidates come to mind, like Takanuva’s victory against Antroz,

his return during the Dark Hunters Arc after splitting from Takutanuva,

Sanok vs Tahnok-Kal,

and definitely the final battle

So like... what's the lore of Makuta in Circulation?

The species: They don't really exist but their equivalent in the universe are Shadow Toa, who are spirits of fallen Toa that in the past gave into their Inner Darknesses and became corrupted servants of the Dark Lord

The guy: In one of the original universes, a Toa named Voriki purged himself of his Light and embraced his Inner Darkness, and his lust for power eventually turned him into the Dark Lord Makuta, creating Shadow Toa and Rahi Kaiju as his servants. His fellow Toa, the Mata, enlisted the help of his son Takua to use the power of Light against his father's Darkness. When this first final battle ended with Takanuva almost winning, Makuta mustered all the power he had accumulated to reboot the universe. For seventy plus universes, the Dark Lord Makuta has since been repeatedly trying to create a universe in his image, but at every turn Takanuva emerged to face him, forcing him to reboot things again and again with a new grand scheme every time

So like... what's the deal with matoro in circulation?

Ok so uh

The Dark Lord Makuta has rebooted the universe many times in an attempt to mold it into his image, but was always stopped by Takanuva and his friends each time in some way. In one such reboot, Matoro sadly sacrificed himself in battle, but after the universe once again rebooted, his sacrifice prevented him from being reincarnated in this new world. Instead he returned as a ghost, a Toa of Death.

Now he wanders the current universe searching for Takua to give him knowledge about the many universal reboots Makuta has subjected everyone to, in hopes to finally help end the cycle.
