Original and eternal, two defining terms that had shackled the madman for centuries. Now, he could add forgotten to the long list of adjectives that described the insatiable predator. A meagre hunter and his peevish sister slaughtered the Original, a murder so callous it could have almost made him proud – if it hadn’t entombed him.

His family has spent all of 24 hours attempting to avenge him, Rebekah and Klaus barely batting an eyelash for their fallen brother. The Other Side was worse than the imageries of Hell. If anything he would’ve relished the fiery pits of torture. Instead, his existence consisted of watching the downfalls of his family. Boredom ate away at his sanity – or what was left of it in the first place – vexing him further. Day in, day out he waited… watching their lives continue without even a mention of their brother. Family… he knew nothing of the sentiments that word held, it left bitterness in his mouth and an aching in his rotten, un-beating heart.

One day, he found himself in possibly the most lackluster decade of this new century. A prison world the whispers had informed him, yet to him it was a taste of freedom. Anger manacled his soul further in this world, tempting his starvation for entertainment, chaos… and vengeance. He’d burn this world down, give them something to truly remember him by this time around. And he would start with his family.

When Elijah woke to find himself in Mystic Falls he thought perhaps this was some trick that the witches of New Orleans was playing on himself and his brother. That they somehow locked them in a dream world in another attempt at stealing Hope. He calm about it nonetheless, knowing that his niece was safety hidden away with Rebekah and that no witch would be able to find the two of them, he hoped at least. He had faith. 

The 1990’s were nothing that Elijah thought back on fondly, the style wasn’t one he would ever sport, not that Elijah was ever caught sporting less than his three piece suits. Though given circumstances he could be found in a v-neck and jeans once in awhile, it his way of letting people see him as approachable. This was his home, his birthplace and now it was crawling with supernaturals and more worrisome now he and his siblings weren’t the only true immortal forces in town.

All out war would help no one, he decided that if he had to use his diplomatic skills to get people to work together to get out of this spell, he would do everything in his power to do so. Whether or not he had faith no witch could or would find Hope and Rebekah he didn’t want to leave her without the security of back up if it was so needed. The town was known for its council, which in the past was formed of only humans looking to destroy vampires. He planned on making one for the time being of all walks of life to help keep the peace and find a solution for the problem that everyone found themselves in.

Davina Claire had escaped the fiery heart of hell twice now, but the Devil was ready for another round. And this time he had a few tricks up his sleeve. One moment jazz music filtered throughout various shops, thundering across the cobblestone pavement of Bourbon Street as she headed to a popular voodoo shop, grimoire with listed ingredients in hand, to restock. The next, a blinding white light nearly knocked her off her feet, only to reveal something impossible. A town too perfect to be called a dream. Whispers called it a Prison World. Davina definitely got the prison part. Initially she thought of it as some grand design the Ancestor’s cooked up specially for her. An elaborate straight jacket of a world, complete solitary confinement with evergreens and abandoned buildings to keep her company, as punishment for her allegiance with the vampires. Their vindictiveness had always been apparent, and it wouldn’t have surprised her much that to them weeks of being shunned in the afterlife wasn’t enough discipline. It would’ve been simpler if that were the case, only soon Davina realized there was one major flaw in her theory: she wasn’t alone.

Suddenly, Davina missed the thousand year-old immortal she’d just resurrected who was at her beck and call ( if only she hadn’t of misplaced him )

Supernatural kin of the like, some familiar friend and foe, were trapped and clueless same as she. One thing the French Quarter taught her was that confusion brewed fear which lead to chaos and, eventually…all out war. Lines were being drawn, alliances formed, and for once Davina didn’t want to be on the outs. The last time it had gotten her killed. So when her eyes settled on an abandoned apothecary, she used the opportunity to turn it into a beacon for all. From herbs and gems that heal, to balms and banes that kill, Davina was the center of all magical transaction in the ageless town. In her downtime she studied the grimoire that had somehow made the trip alongside her. Studying it added a blanket of much needed security. Because something about this town had her on edge. Yes, she was dedicated to finding a way out like the rest were. It just didn’t hurt to be a step ahead incase a war began to brew. Being on the radar for sadistic vampires and vengeful witches wasn’t new, and it’d nearly put her in a grave before permanently. In a moment to herself, the young witchling vowed to never be at the mercy of anyone else. Davina was a Harvest Girl, fire was her sacred element. If this prison doesn’t bend to her will, then she’ll burn it to bloody ashes.

Kai has called this hell hole prison world home for the last eighteen years of his life. After the murders of most of his family, his father and coven banished him, feeling betrayed by his favorite sibling, his twin sister. Kai’s first reaction was to find a way out, using all the studies of the coven’s magic but it proved to be useless, he couldn’t do anything alone. Without magic.

Eventually wanting to give up Kai thought the best way to get over on his father was to kill himself, have another Parker child’s blood on his father’s hands, for lying, betraying and trying to take what was rightfully his birthright. But this was truly hell, with no way out, a leap from there, a bullet here, a tightly tied rope, carefully placed blade, none of it worked. He woke up the next day, the same day, over and over, it was enough to drive anyone mad.

So when he heard the first few voices, it was easy to assume it was all in his head. A socially deprived young man thirsting for any human interaction but as he interacted more and more with these new faces he realized he wasn’t alone anymore. Out of isolation he was now in general population with the rest of the prisoners that his coven placed here. He was Peter Pan in his own Neverland now that his family had stocked the world full of endless magics. The only choice that weighed on him was if he wanted to stay in Neverland or escape and finally get his revenge on his coven.

If you said a year ago that Kira would be traveling the world, called the New Mexico desert her home, and was learning how to harness her powers as a Kitsume with a group of people called the Skinwalkers, she would have thought you were on some sort of drug or mostly likely crazy. At 19, she thought she would at least be in college eating pizza and cola with her roommate and trying to study for a test. There was a chance that she might texting Scott or begging Lydia to help her study. But of course, Kira Yukimura’s life was never normal. Not in the slightest. Living with the Skinwalkers gave her the chance to work on herself and gain the confidence she needed to control the Kitsune for the next couple of centuries and be one with her sword.

The Skinwalkers had been the ones to tell her one night that something was off. That the earth was unbalanced and that they were all in danger. Kira would usually ignore their random predictions. However, this time she could sense their fear. The Kitsume in her started to stir and she felt the shift in the atmosphere. Before she knew it, she felt herself being sucked into another world. And when she woke up, she was in a place she didn’t know. It didn’t take long to learn she was in a place she would eventually hate.

She wasn’t sure who else was in the world or who she could depend on. Especially when the eclipse came. Her fox would start to fight for dominance and would try to ruin everything she trained for. It was a true test of will power and it became very old very quick. The old Kira would want to give up and just let the Kitsune do what it wanted. But the new Kira knew better. She knew she couldn’t let the fox take over and she knew that if it did, all hell would break loose. So she found herself hiding in an old gym where she could continue her training. The less she was around people and the outside world, the better. Because if there was one thing her fox liked to do, it was to cause a little chaos. Especially with a new playground at its disposal.

At the order of Derek, Cora went back to the safety of South America, her haven after the fire that killed most of their family. She continued to live among a pack that held ties to her family, she held a beta position within the pack. Quickly earning favor with the alpha of her pack even at her young age, the pack protected the small town within the jungle from dangerous supernaturals as the people of the village helped protect the pack from any hunters that found themselves in the area.

Cora was finally earning a name for herself or so she thought, the Hale name came with a lot of weight, her uncle’s reputation for killing her sister to gain power, her mother’s leadership and of course the rumors of her older brother Derek was never an easy shadow to crawl out from under. She did her best though, when the alpha came to her about joining their strengths in a bond that would ultimately strength the pack she was hesitant but also interested in protecting the pack that had taken her in since she was young. She almost agreed till she found out that the pack alpha wanted to use her to gain more power, use the reputation of the Hale name to gain more members and take over the small town they were guarding.

The she-wolf had little choice but to flee South America and find her older brother, if she couldn’t protect herself from the alpha than she knew that even if she didn’t like it that Derek would. It was on her way back home that she ended up waking up in a strange town, in a strange time. Cora hid for the longest time, sure that the alpha had either sent wolves after her or that he followed himself and till she could get to her brother she was the sheep among wolves.

Sam is.

Being pulled from Hell was more an ordeal than he can say, and although Sam is more than grateful that he isn’t there any more, that he’s back with Dean, back somewhere he can breathe, he’s more than itching to break out. The world reminds him too much of the Mystery Spot, Heat of the Moment echoing in his own mind as the day turns into the next, but never really the next, even though there’s not Trickster here to loop it through a tinny alarm-clock radio.

His first few weeks in the Prison World were spent trying to figure out the rules. Once he seemed to have gotten them (or, gotten them as much as he could, what with the reset every day), he was on the hunt. There had to be some kind of monster at the root of this- there was always some kind of monster, he just had to find it- which was easier said than done, seeing as he only had about twenty four hours to do it each time.

The hunt- if you can even call this a hunt- has been dead cold for almost the full month, now; he hasn’t found much in the way of tricksters, or angels, or demons that could be doing this, though he’s noticed that there’s something that isn’t quite human about a lot some of those who pass him when he moves around the town, though he hasn’t made any move much bigger than just taking note of them. More often than not, he spends his days just researching whatever he can, pouring over whatever books he can pull in the library or newspaper clippings.

He wants out, and he’s going to find a way out, one way or another- because, in the end, that’s what he’s alway done.
