Bioten Launches its Natural and Sustainable European Skin Care Line in the Philippines
The current global pandemic has really emphasized how nature plays an important part in our lives. In the past few decades, we have started to focus on taking care of the environment because it will surely have an effect on our own well-being. Bioten, a European skin care brand that has just been launched in the Philippines, turns nature’s power and uses it for women’s beauty. These beauty products have a mix of natural ingredients with the power of science that takes care of both our skin and Mother Earth.
It’s time we take a deeper understanding into discovering what goes into our everyday choices, especially our skin care. Nature has a powerful gift within our reach, so we might as well use it. Bioten harnesses the power of nature to provide high-performing products for all ages and skin types. With their philisophy of “caring for nature, caring for you,” Bioten is a great new addition to keep us feeling beautiful inside and out.
I was excited to be invited to the Philippine launch of Bioten last September 17, 2020. Instead of the usual festivities, this was done through a virtual Skin Care and Cocktails Zoom event where we were joined by a handful of celebrities and media personalities together with Bioten executives from Europe.
Bioten products were sent to me a week before the event, while this curated box containing handcrafted items from Gallery by Chele was sent that afternoon. The cocktail spread includes Parmesan cheese, Jamon, Beetroot Jam, and a Homemade Kefir Yogurt with quince, almond, fruits and wild honey from the Aetas.
The package also came with a Saffron and Shrimp Paella plus a Vodkatine cocktail as well. That way, we could discuss and explore this new skin care brand online while enjoying all these delicacies.
Welcoming us to the Zoom event was my friend Bess Howe who I met when she was still working at Holiday Inn & Suites Makati. This was actually my very first virtual event since the community quarantine started last March, so it was pretty exciting to see all the other guests as well.
With my Bioten items ready, we started the zoom event at around 5:00pm in the afternoon. Joining us virtually were several online and print media personalities including Tessa Prieto, Michelle Aventajado, the Bioten Team from Greece, the iFace team, and many more.
Bioten is a skin care brand of the Sarantis Group, a Greek multinational first established in 1930 with a leading presence in Europe. Bioten is distributed in the Philippines by iFace Inc. which also distributes other sought-after international beauty and wellness brands in the country.
Bioten selects 100% natural key ingredients derived from eco-friendly and gently extraction methods in order to preserve their actives. It’s formula is dermatologically tested and enhanced with advanced moisturizing agent platforms, the latest skin health guarding actives, and upgraded anti-aging complexes that guarantee effectiveness. Bioten is also committed to leaving a sustainable footprint. Its packaging is made of fully recyclable materials and applies an energy management system in its factory.
The Skin Moisture range includes two variants, the Normal Skin and the Dry/Sensitive Skin. Both are intensified with prebiotics, the only mass brand to do so, which helps keep your skin’s microbiome healthy & balanced. It also contains 100% natural Saffron extract, which comes with Vitamin A, Vitamin C, and is rich in folic acid including antioxidants. I used the Skin Moisture Face Cream (P349) and my face really felt healthy and radiant the next day. Aside from being filled with 100% natural and sustainable saffron extract plus prebiotics, it also has Hydronutrient 24H - an advanced moisturizing complex that keeps skin soft and moisturized for 24 hours.
The Bioten Micellar Water (P349) with 100% Saffron Extract removes makeup with ease with their Micellar Water for dry and sensitive skin. It’s nature-powered formula helps leave skin clean, fresh, and bright without irritating or drying it out. Then there is the Skin Moisture Face Care Cleansing Milk (P349) which is great for dry and sensitive skin. It removes all impurities but still leaves the skin feeling hydrated. It’s really refreshing to use these beauty items because you know that you are also contributing to the health and beauty of the planet. Bioten products are available at Watsons and The SM Store Beauty Section nationwide. You can also buy them online at Amorfia and Lazada.
I think I found the right skincare for me. I've been using Bioten for almost a month now!! ☺️😍 I love their Micellar Water because it really removes excess makeup and dirt. I also love the moisturizing gel cream because it's very lightweight, long lasting hydration and di masyadong malagkit sa pakiramdam. I also use this moisturizer before I put my make up on. I'm using the normal to combination skin type one. ☺️ It's all natural, sustainable, and vegan friendly. 🌳 I got mine from Watsons for P300+, I'm not sure. I forgot. 😅 But it's worth the price. ☺️ It is made from France 🗼!
