Papa thrush (corpse) brought the prey. Mom is busy somewhere.

For the sake of information, I note that the child is spoiled. A blackbird brought food to his child a couple of times, and the child turned away and refused to eat - it got to the point that dad was forced to fly away twice with worms in his beak, spitting on a capricious child.

The moral of the story ... a spoon for mom, probably? :-)
