Think you’ve heard the last of me, huh? bird trapper guy?

I haven’t been doing anything for months. Mostly because I am so busy with my own work to go out and see the traps. And also because he started placing his trap too near to his home. Or even inside his own home. I can do nothing if it is placed within his line of sight. like I said before, I love the birds and I can’t stand to see them trapped. But I also love myself and I don’t want any trouble. So, I’ll only do something when I’m sure it’s safe. Coward? may be. but I really don’t want confrontation.

Currently, there are 2 bird nests in my house’s area. One is in our garden right in front of our front door. And one is on my parent’s room’s window. Dad loves them. He just put an umbrella above the garden bird today when it was raining. I love them too, but not as much as to give them an umbrella. XDDDD And the mother bird is not scared of us at all. She sometimes sees us all the time. but she continue sleeping as soon as she sees that it was us.

Today, after a long time of no action. I’ve disabled 4 traps he placed too far from his line of sight. I was on my way out of the village to go to bank. And it was just conveniently placed there. I paid it no mind and totally forgot about it until I got home and dad asked me about it.

Dad : Did you do something on your way out?

Me : huh? not really. Why?

Dad : Our neighbor was complaining about his traps being disabled by someone. All four of them.

Me : Oh.

Dad : Was it you?

Me : ............................I don’t know nothing.

Dad : Don’t mess with him that much.

Me : .............................ye

Mom : So it was you?

Me : I did nothing of the sort.

Dad : Can you ask him to pause his trapping for a few months? I mean, our mother birds are hatching their eggs.

Me : Who, me? Why me?

Dad : no, your mom. You are the village’s representative. You have power to enforce stuff to villagers?

Mom : ... hm ...

Me : .........

Dad : ........

Mom : ...............

Me : nice supper today, btw mom.

mom : thx.

Dad : Can it be done? don’t let him catch our mother birds.

Me : That could be really difficult. Meanwhile. you can’t really ask me to stop messing up some traps if I have the chance.

Dad : shhh! Don’t be too loud. His house is right next to ours.

To conclude. We are at a standstill again. Mom doesn’t want trouble so we’re not using her representative power. I don’t want trouble so I’m still not confronting him. Dad doesn’t want trouble so he’s just watching from afar and take care of his beloved mother birds closely. The trapper is pissed right now so it is time to lay low again.
