One Game To Rule Them All : Love & Poke

So the other night as I was randomly searching the app store for new otome games I came across this app and I have been fangirling for straight 48 hours now.Orz 

But I’v just been wondering WHY ON EARTH NO ONE HAS TALKED ABOUT THIS GAME YET?? AND WHY DIDN’T I KNOW ABOUT IT??

Basically, this is an all voiced otome game where you “poke” the guy and he talks to you! ლ(ಠ益ಠლ)

There are 14 HOT guys that you can choose:

And as you can see they all have: 

different art style = different artist = different stories

all this + awesome voice actors !

I will talk about the guys in a separate post cuz I have SO much to talk about them! o<~<

The game was apparently first released in 2015 but from what I’ve gathered they just recently started updating most of the characters. Some parts of the game like their profiles has yet to be translated in English but all their voiced conversations have English Subs.

The game is rated +17 because of “ Frequent/Intense Sexual Content or Nudity” and I do highly recommend my -17 friends to stay far far away from some of the routes which I will talk about later on my blog!🙊

There are some voiced parts for free and some available for purchase and they cost about $1-2 CAD which is decent in my opinion.

The coolest thing about this app is that they have used ‘Dummy Head Microphone’ system to voice the guys! 

In case you wondering wth that is:

What this microphone does is that it makes their voices to be super realistic if you use earphones/headphones!! You could literally feel the guy is right next to you! (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻

Fun story: There is one part where one of the guys blows into the left ear of the mc and I jumped 8240 meters cuz I thought someone is next to me !!🙊

Hajimete no Yoru II - Track Summaries and Review

Thank you so much to themadpuppy85 for requesting this! Tsudaken is adorable! His voice hits me right in the feels!

WARNING: LONG POST AHEAD

Character Info (taken from the website) Name: Suzuki Seishirou Age: 33 Personality: (rough trans) He’s the type to lose sight of his surroundings once he sets his mind on something. He’s not very good with human relationships. His talking speed is a slow tempo whether at work or with strangers (?). Seishirou is more of a listener which causes the people around him to say “I’m not sure what he thinks about”. Despite his awkwardness you fell in love and have been dating for 3 years until the marriage.

--- Track 1 - At the Hotel The track begins with Seishirou wondering if it’s really okay staying at a regular hotel. It seems it was close by to the wedding venue but if you guys had booked with a bigger hotel you could have received special services for after your wedding ceremony. You both enter the room and you tell him it’s fine. He says there’s still time to call up somewhere else but you tell him doing so would cause a little trouble for the hotel you’re staying in and the hotel you'd want to change to. Seishirou has the habit of losing sight of other things when his mind is set on something but it looks like you always help to open up his surroundings again. He’s happy if you’re happy so anywhere is fine by him. He wants to do everything that will make you happy since today is a special day. He says “I'm home” and you laugh. It doesn’t matter if it’s at home or if you’re in a hotel - wherever you are, he’s home. You head to the window and you can both see your wedding venue. It hasn’t really sunk in that you’re both married and that the wedding ceremony is over since things were hectic for so long with wedding preparations. The time right now might be the only time you’ve had alone since yesterday. Seishirou gets a little shy but says “Yoroshiku onegaishimasu” (I’m in your favour/take care of me) with a little chuckle at the end. As a married couple he hopes you both take care of each other. Track 2 - Our Very Own Celebration The doorbell rings after Seishirou wonders what you guys should do. He says if you’re tired you should take a bath and sleep. Its room service at the door with a cart. On the cart is a slice of cake. Seishirou wanted you both to celebrate your marriage together outside of the ceremony too so he ordered the cake. Although, he worries that it’s a little heavy since it’s late after all but you’re happy to eat. He feeds you a bite of cake and he opens up the champagne too. You both didn’t get a chance to drink a lot earlier but Seishirou’s in the mood for some - he pours you both a glass and you “cheers”. (I think the both of you don’t normally drink?) Seishirou feeds you another bite of cake and when you don’t reciprocate his actions he’s like “You won’t feed me? You want to tease me?” (CUTIE) It’s not that you won’t feed him but that you know he’s not very good with sweet things. Watching you eat so gleefully makes him want to eat and hopefully you won’t show that kind of face to anyone else. He says you were beautiful in your dress and it reminds him of a film he saw years ago. He now understands what it’s like to see his bride. I think there was a scene in the film where the bride got taken away or something? You ask if he’s drunk because he normally doesn’t say things like that. He thinks he normally does but he can’t really tell. Seishirou says he’s not drunk but if he really doesn’t say things like that normally then the him right now must be his real self (hope that’s not confusing!). A person that doesn’t say what they’re really feeling is a bad person. They keep their real feelings inside and if anything they could turn out to be a wolf in sheep’s clothing! He could eat you right up! Seishirou asks you, if he really turned out to be a horrible person and only did things to make him happy, what would you do? You answer by saying he’s not that kind of person. He apologises for asking something strange and that he won’t drink anymore tonight otherwise he won’t be able to take a bath. He lingers on the word “bath” and suggest it’s time for one. You should take one first since the bride must be tired. You say you don’t mind if he takes one first and he says he’ll take one quickly. Seishirou stands and whispers under this breath that there’s no way he could say “something” like that… Track 3 - Bath You enter the bathroom changing room and stop before the door to the actual bathroom. Seishirou asks you if something’s wrong whilst he’s in the bath. You say you just want to take one together to which he’s surprised. He prepares himself mentally and says it’s okay for you to come in. Seishirou's acting a bit strange which makes you think this is a problem for him but it’s not. He calls you in so you don’t get cold standing outside. Talking to himself he wonders if it was a good thing or bad thing that he didn’t have his glasses with him when you start washing yourself lol! He asks tentatively why you suddenly wanted to have a bath together and it’s because you could tell that was what he wanted. Adorable Seishirou apologises for thinking he forced you to feel like that. Dun be sorry! Also, because usually bath time is alone time where you’re able to think about work and various other things it’d be a bit distracting with someone else in the bath with you. Except you’re not just ‘someone else'. You’re sat in the bath hugging your knees and Seishirou notices. He says you should fully stretch out so you can relax so he goes to get some bubble bath and switches on the jacuzzi to create a lot of bubbles. Bless his little cotton socks! He knew you weren’t comfortable with showing yourself completely! You sit closer to him and suggest having a bath together at home. He’s happy about that since it means more baths together on the whole and, if possible, have one everyday together. As much as he doesn’t want to get out he thinks it’s time he should as he’s already done washing his hair and body. He kindly offers to wash your hair and body but you decline for now. Seishirou rinses off and goes to wait for you in bed. Track 4 - In the Bed Just as you start drying your hair Seishirou comes in and says even though he knows you’re capable you should let him dry your hair for you. He couldn’t wait for you to come to bed so he came over. He felt like trying out more new things because it’s a special night. You dry his hair too as it’s still a bit damp. He’s fine with it until you say it was him that said you have to completely dry it otherwise you’ll catch a cold. When you’re both done he guides you over to the bed. The scene changes to when you arrive, and you both get in. You say he’s acting motherly when he says to make sure the duvet covers your shoulders but he says he’s your husband not your mother. He’s so darn cute! XD You rest your head on his shoulder(?) and you guys start chatting. Being with you makes him want to be active and try new things. This makes you happy because you get to see a new side to him. There’s a chance he’s been misunderstanding various things in his life. At work, nothing interesting ever happened until you came along(?) He thought a lot and worried over being someone you can rely on; someone that’s not uncool and someone that won’t make you think he’s not worthy as a man. Because you’re the person you are he wants to become stronger so he can protect you. He says his fingers must be cold but he wonders what they’d feel like to you when they’re warm. His hands have always been cold until they started changing. You’re the one that taught him the warmth of another person and you were the one that warmed up his fingertips! Seishirou says a few more sweet words and says he loves you before kissing you. Track 5 - Pillow Talk You’ve become quite sleepy but you don’t want to sleep first because you don’t want to leave him alone. You must be tired anyway so don’t try to stay awake. He doesn’t want to say this to his most precious person but he calls you a “ba~ka” because he won’t be alone. There’s no way he would be because of the bond you hold you’ll see each other in your dreams. You can even hold hands as you sleep if you’re that worried. Seishirou sends you to sleep and tells you to wait for him. He starts his monologue as soon as you fall asleep and he reveals that he really didn’t want to let you sleep. Although, seeing your sleeping face is enough for him for his heart to swell. After meeting you he wonders whether or not he’s actually matured or grown as a person since he himself doesn’t think he’s changed at all. And yet you accepted him anyway and taught him so much. He’s never been very good at various things in life but never thought there was any rush into improving those things about him until he met you. The parts that he didn’t like about himself you liked about him. Being with you made him feel alive for the first time and just imagining a day without you makes his heart tighten up in pain. Seishirou doesn’t know whether or not he can give you everything back for what you’ve given him but he’d swear on his life to keep loving you if it kept you smiling. At that moment he wonders if you smiled. He asks cautiously if you’re sleeping but you don’t answer. “How is it that you can still make me happy when you’re asleep?” Seishirou slowly starts falling asleep murmuring no matter what expression you may have, until he can’t keep his eyes open any longer he’ll always be watching after you. He kisses you and says goodnight. He won’t make you wait any longer in your dreams. Track 6 - Our First Morning Seishirou wakes up happily having dreamt of you both spending time together laughing and chatting aimlessly. He says good morning and kisses you. He confirms with you that you saw his sleeping face and he says you should have woken him up but only because that means he can spend as much time with you as possible. It’s your first morning together as a married couple so it would have been nice to have woken up earlier to see your sleeping face too. He thinks you guys should go back to sleep so he can wake up first and see your sleeping face. Lol! But in the end he just wants to stay as you are in bed so you can cherish your time in bliss. Track 7 - Our First… You both arrive back home and he offers to take the bags and things through to the living room. You’re in charge of opening doors for him. Seishirou says “I’m home” again. He says it actually feels different to when he said it in the hotel because he’s actually home this time. He asks if you remember what he said yesterday about you always being his home and calls you to him for a hug. He always wants to be the one to say “Welcome back” to you as he always wants to be the place you’ll say “I’m back” to. It was strange for him yesterday because he felt like spoiling you so much but the feeling hasn’t gone at all today so you have to stay in the hug a little while longer. Seishirou says he’s the happiest man alive. He’ll treasure any words said between you. If he’d never have met you he never would have experienced such happiness. He hopes he can return to you all the things you taught him, and for you to always be within his arms. —- In actual fact I completely forgot I did a track summary for the first volume! Pretty bad I know but I think I may have enjoyed the first volume a little better because the character had a little more spice to him. I may not have enjoyed the tsundere heroine that much but compared to this CD there’s a little more going on with the first volume. And I was pretty quick to jump the gun on saying I didn’t like it. HOWEVER! Tsudaken is just so sweet in this! I’ve only ever heard his normal gruff voice so this was lovely and refreshing. AND SO FRICKEN CUTE! I know some say Tsudaken doesn’t have a lot of vocal range but this proves he does have a little? He may have slowed down his speaking speed but I think he’s done rather well to represent the character. It’s just…so lovely! Tsuda fans: get this CD on if you haven’t heard it before. Hajimete no Yoru ~ Special Script

Hey guy !! I participate to the promotion campaign for Hajimete no Yoru and i won that special script :D I want to share with you even my translation won’t be perfect. So here you are ^^ If you have any suggestion for a better translation please react and help me to fix the mistakes.

****************************** ふと、まぶしい光を感じて目を覚ます。 Unexpectedly, I felt a dazzling light and wake up. 「ん……？」 Mn…? 寝起きの目をこすりながら身体を起こすと、ベッドにいるのは俺ひとり。 ドアの向こう……リビングのほうから、かすかに人の気配がする。 あいつ、先に起きたのか。 I open slowly my eyes and raise my body, I was alone in bed. Behind the door, in the living there is a sign of life. So she woke up before. 「そばにいなきゃダメって言ったのに……」 「I told you to be always next to me…」 思わずそうこぼしながら再びベッドに横たわる。 I lean again on the bed while those words escaped my lips. 顔をうずめる枕から香る、清潔なせっけんの匂い。 I can smell a fragrance of a clean soap as i bury my face on the pillow. そこにほんのり混じるあいつの香り。 It is slightly mixed with her scent 香水とかじゃなく……俺だけが知ってる、温かくてやさしい香りだ。 It is not perfume… It’s a gentle and warm scent that i only know. その空気がぎゅっと俺の胸をつかんで、またあいつに触れたくなる。 I hug this air on my chest and feel like i want to touch her again さっきまで一緒にいたのに、もうこんなに恋しいなんて。 We were together just before and i miss her already that much. ――さっさと自分も起きてリビングに行けばいいだけの話だ。きっとそこにあいつはいる。 ―― I would just have to wake up and go to the living. She is there. けど、ゆうべからの余韻がまだ抜けないせいか、なんとなくベッドから離れがたくて。 But is it because i’m still in the last night condition, i really don’t want to get out of bed. 「……こっち、来ればいいのに」 「… I only have to go there but」 そう呟いた瞬間、静かにドアが開いた。 At the moment i was muttering, the door opened silently. ハッと振り向くと、少し驚いたようなあいつの顔と出会う。 I looked back suddenly, i was a bit surprised to see her face. 『起きてたんだ』 『You are wake up』 そう言いながらこちらへやってくるあいつの手には、大きめのトレイが。 その上には俺とあいつが使っているマグカップと、料理の乗った皿が１枚。 She brought with her a big tray as she was speaking. There was a plate with a dish and the mug we are both using on it. 「……朝メシ？」 「… Breakfast?」 『時間的にはもうお昼だけどね』と笑って、相手がベッドの端に腰掛ける。 あたたかな湯気の向こうに見えるトーストとサラダ、スクランブルエッグ。 She laughed and say 『At that time, it’s lunch time』 and she sat on the edge of the bed. 『冷蔵庫の中、本当にからっぽだったね。だからあんまりちゃんとしたもの作れなかったけど』 The fridge was really empty. So i couldn’t do anything good. その言葉とともに差し出されるマグカップを、身体を起こして受け取る。 She hand me the cup as she was speaking, i raised my body and take the mug. 「こんだけあれば充分だろ。さんきゅ」 「It’s enough with that. Thank you」 大きく息をしてコーヒーの香りを吸い込む。 I take a good breathe and scent the the coffee. 俺の大好きな銘柄だ。わざわざ挽いてくれたらしい。 It is my favorite brand. It seems she grinded it specially for me. 熱いコーヒーを少しずつ味わっていると、ふいにあいつがクスッと笑った。 As I was tasting the hot coffee little by little, she was grinning slightly. 「ん、何？」 「Mm, What is it?」 問いかける俺を見て、あいつもマグカップを持ち上げる。 She was looking at me as i ask her, she raise her cup too. 『結婚式の次の日にベッドで朝ご飯食べるって、なんか映画みたいじゃない？』 Being like this the day after the wedding ceremony eating the breakfast, it looks like we were in a movie, isn’t it? 冗談めかして微笑む彼女。 She was smiling at her joke. それにつられて俺まで笑ってしまう。 And I am laughing in my turn. 「……だな」 「…You’re right」 大好きな香りを挟んで見交わす笑顔。 I sandwich the favorite fragrance and we smile to each other 胸を満たしていく幸せのぬくもり。 My heart is satisfied with the warmth of happiness. ――ああ、俺はこいつとこれからずっと一緒に生きていくんだ。 こうしていつでも俺を笑顔にしてくれる、こいつと。 ―― Haa, I will live like this with her forever. そんな思いを、やわらかな陽射しが包み込んでいく。 The gentle light surround me as I am thinking. こういうなんでもない日常が、少しずつ重なって一生切れない絆になればいい。 It should become the bond that I am piled up little by little, and I do not cut throughout the life それは結婚して初めて迎える朝に思う、幸せな願いだった。 It was the wish of hapiness I am thinking of in the morning after we got married.
