TV shows and their straight showrunners be like:
”We are totally for diversity. We had that one gay character before we decided to mutilate and brutally kill him off. Diversity. Representation matters 😌.”
So I've just come out to six of my friends at once (well, five, one already knew) and I'm really really scared and nervous and shit. And please help me I've been trying to come out to my mum for weeks now - I would stand at work and think "right I'm going to do it tonight and this is how" and then get home and not do it because I'm scared even though I know she will fully support me I am scared. But more than that, I'm scared of Coming out to my dad because he treats LGBT people like they're a mythical race or something and he doesn't hate so much as make offensive jokes and not realise they're offensive and I'm scared of that more than anything.
Hi, I identify as bi, but I'm not sure whether I'm pan or not. I would most definitely date people who are trans etc, but I always thought that bi was inclusive of that, is it? I would rather say I'm bi because it's more widely known and people seem to understand it better and believe it's more valid than pan (I think they're both valid) but I'm just so confused and I'm really scared of doing the wrong thing or saying the wrong thing. Idk if you get what I'm saying but if you do please help!
I think it’s a common misconception that bisexuals aren’t attracted to individuals that identify as trans or gender queer. Bisexuality is often defined as attraction to 2 or more genders. I think that if you want to identify as bisexual that’s fine. It seems to fit. Don’t be stressed about what others think. Identify as what what feels right for you.

What about regular full-gay girls? I don't know what your submissions regulations are, and I would definitely read them before submitting, but I have a WIP featuring a lesbian protagonist who's love interest is a bi female. Does that count?
Well, I'd love more lesbian titles as well. But they're not bisexual girls. And we do have some lesbian titles. Not nearly enough, but some.
But the love interest in that story (assuming she's also a main character) would put it in the bisexual category as well, so that would make the story count.
