i think ive said this before but i think the shadow crystals are all pieces of Dess' soul, the Pure Crystal is made when you put the pieces back together, and the Twisted Sword requires you to permanently, across all possible save files, destroy her soul and any hope of bringing her back.
#based on the poem in the one readable book in the room before the ch4 egg room#and my own delusions#oo what if the game is like. they're all trapped in this game format until... something#i need to go to bed what am i on about#is there some kind of game mechanic that could conceivably be used to make it seem like#the game/a character is having an effect on the real world and/or can see you/knows what's happening on our end#like throughout ut and dr theres a lot of this ofc#aside from the obvious of the whole premise of the game#there's mettaton's essay portion and the mike room and rhe arg amd keeping track of vhoices you make#and the player name dropping and the whole premise of the weird route#and so like. you know how mega flowys tv head sometimes shows a deep fried jpeg of toby fox#and you know how the angels prophecy panel is a black screen that reflects the player#idk i kinda want there to somehow be a part where the players face shows up in game in some capacity#the player's pixelated and deep fried face#bit crushed#ye#and more of that in general#i rly liked the mike room#what if.... in the future.... bits of the players voice are repurposed#imagine hearing your own voice making weord lound noises but it's all like. fucked up now#you might not recognize it at first but it would make you feel weird in a way you cant put your finger on#i think im just rambling to procrastinate going to sleep#deltarune
