There’s also my favourite line of dialogue from Gabrielle in the entire show where Leah tells her that “the chaste life’s not too bad, you just got to know yourself” and she replies with “if I have to go the rest of my life without companionship, know myself won’t be a problem”. And it’s a killer every time. I never not laugh.

Today, I am out with my non binary and trans masc friends, both of whom attend an all girls catholic school, which is where they know the antagonist of this story from. We are out at the mall, and all dressed kinda alt, and the two of them are looking very androgynous. This bitch that my friends used to be best friends with and now have major beef comes up and (SHE KNOW THAT THE TWO OF THEM ARE NON BINARY AND TRANSMASC BTW) says to my friends,
“Looking feminine, girls! I love the kind of grungy girl look you have going on [non binary friend] and omg [deadname of transmasc friends] you look so girls I could never make such a short haircut so chic and feminine. Gosh, hey [non bindery friend] do you remember when you had 5at phase where you wanted to look all not girly? And dress like a boy? So glad ur over that hahah that was so weird like everyone thought you were doing it for attention. ”
She is clearly and obviously trying to cause both of my friends dysphoria, IN PUBLIC, FOR NO RESON BUT AO,E LONG DEAD BULLSHIT
My friends are both frozen (bc they are insecure introverts who are two steps away from tears), so I step in and threaten this bitch. This is, roughly, what I say
“Listen here, you raging cunt. I know you know that neither of my friends are girls. Why the fuck have you decided you get to play god with their emotions and force them into a box and cause them emotional pain? What would you do if I just fucking slapped you or called you names just because I could? Just caused you pain for no reason? You’d freak out huh? Anyway I have never met this girl but I have seen photos and been told the lore and so, seeing as she a) doesn’t know my name and b) will not learn my name nor remember my face and c) does not go to my school I’m not super scared
