Indulge in the perfect bite-sized treat with these Salted Caramel Brownie Bites. Rich and fudgy brownie bites with a gooey caramel center and a hint of sea salt for that irresistible sweet and salty combination.
Ingredients: 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips. 1/2 cup unsalted butter. 1 cup granulated sugar. 2 large eggs. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/2 cup all-purpose flour. 1/4 cup cocoa powder. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1/2 cup caramel sauce. 1/2 teaspoon sea salt flakes for garnish.
Instructions: Preheat your oven to 350F 175C and line a mini muffin tin with paper liners. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the semisweet chocolate chips and unsalted butter in 30-second intervals until smooth. Stir well. Add the granulated sugar to the melted chocolate mixture and mix until combined. Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract until the batter is smooth and glossy. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Spoon the brownie batter into the prepared mini muffin tin, filling each cup about two-thirds full. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into a brownie bite comes out with a few moist crumbs. Remove the brownie bites from the oven and let them cool in the muffin tin for 10 minutes. Then, transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely. Once the brownie bites are completely cool, use a small spoon or melon baller to create a small well in the center of each brownie bite. Fill each well with caramel sauce and sprinkle a few sea salt flakes on top for that delightful salty contrast. Allow the caramel to set for a few minutes before serving.
