As oprainfall’s foremost Inti Creates fanboy, today is especially exciting. During the BitSummit Gaiden, Inti revealed a couple of very promising details. Firstly, the newly revealed Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon 2 got an official release date of July 10th. It’s available today to pre-purchase on both Steam and eShop, though the game is going to come to PC, PS4, Switch and Xbox.
But that’s not all! Curse of the Moon 2 will bring back the characters from the first game, as well as allowing co-op combat with a friend! Considering how challenging the first game was, this is a great feature to implement. Plus it’ll just be fun playing as my favorites Miriam and Gebel AKA big poppa bat.

While I’m very excited about Curse of the Moon 2 coming in just a couple weeks, this next reveal from Inti Creates has me incredibly excited. They showed off a trailer of an in-development build of an official sequel to Azure Striker Gunvolt 2! Though I very much appreciated Luminous Avenger iX, there were some perplexing plot developments that I need clarified ASAP. Regardless, Gunvolt 3 looks gorgeous already, and is sporting a new character who attacks with a katana blade capable of deflecting projectiles, as well as electrical blasts. I’m also more than a bit curious about the catch phrase at the end of the trailer – “Fates are sealed as paradigms shift and a new era unfolds. What lies beyond the path toward hope?”

I’ve gotta say, the hard working folks at Inti Creates continue to impress me with this dedication to their craft. I’ve definitely become a fan in the last decade, and I cannot wait to provide more details about both these games.
