yeah, it’s like, most “real new yorkers” are just parents and kids and aunts and uncles and shop owners and garbage men and receptionists. not to mention it’s literally the most diverse place on the planet, so there is no one type of new york.

I’m pretty good at making french toast I guess? but not in the kind of way where I can make amazing french toast, I’m just good at adapting the basic premise of egg+bread to suit all needs
