This vapid creature is Jas and Bizzy's papa, by the way!

His name is Winston and we met several times before all this. I love him and was delighted to be able to take two of his babies.

And they are VERY MUCH his babies.

Bizzy could be a model if models were allowed to be constantly silly, never sit still, and lick everyone in the face.

They are the most wonderful babies and they will either stay with us forever or go to the luckiest family ever. Biz loves to be stroked and fussed over and kissed as she looks at you lovingly, her aquamarine eyes gazing up adoringly from her tiny pixie face. Jasper's personality is harder to perceive, he seems to be a forb (furry orb), and very sweet, thriving on proximity and watching others do things, and going potty at the same time you do. But it's hard to say, since I've spent frustratingly little alone time with them while they are quarantined in the bathroom or on observed jaunts into the studio. Their little world will soon expand to encompass the studio full-time, once I have babyproofed it by removing things like knives, string, live electrical cords, and dangerous chemicals. 😬

I don't love them as individuals yet, because I don't know them very well, and because I'm trying not to love them deeply until we know they can stay. I am ready to love them all to pieces, though, the minute Fancy makes it apparent she can adjust. I'm especially ready to love Jasper. Bizzy is the vibrant one, so full of ideas and energy, but I suspect Jasper will be a wonderful companion once we have made proper friends, and he is already funny. Sid was funny, and I miss that a lot.

They show a lot of promise. They have been thoroughly socialized and acclimated to handling, humans, other cats, dogs, and loving chaos, they aren't unusually skittish or withdrawn. If we can keep them we intend to try and train them to go on little jaunts with us in the car and to the pet store and other pet-friendly places.

I know so much more about working with cats than I did even a few years ago, and I want these babies to be confident and calm in as many situations as possible.

In other words, I've got the stress of babies right now with few of the benefits, but I'm SO hoping it goes well because once they are integrated I am going to have such a good time.
