Wow, my collection changed a LOT during the years... some remained, but most came and go. I don't have a current image of all my dolls, but I think I should make one.

I just realised that I have had one doll for 5 years with me (9 years in the hobby), then others for three, two and one year and one for 3 months. I *used* to consider myself a revolving door, but now I see i have finally settled :D Yay! I honestly look at all of them and I love them and want nothing to change. For the FIRST time :D

I got financially lucky during the pandemic because my country supported us very well and I used my extra money (as well as some savings from my income) to get 3 dolls in 2020. It's a lot for me, but the extra money and the situation made me "treat myself" for the first time in years and it felt good to get something I've been holding out for longtime. Now I feel I have all the dolls I wanted and I finally get to work on my full crew without fearing discontinuation.

I don't think buying alot of dolls means that you are a shopaholic. I have a carefully curated wishlist of dolls i must have and will put in alot of effort into obtaining. Yes there is alot of dolls on the list but I love and want them all. I don't impulsively spend or get distracted by great deals or whatever. The vision of my doll family is very focused and it makes me happy to have this goal even if it means putting in a lot of money.
