It is hard to drill take downs at home, but as soon as we can train outside we will be getting to that again. We have been teaching our padawans (beginners) some take downs. Also been very good for us teachers to think thru and sharpen up the tools we have standing up. ⠀ I am one of the (many) guard pullers but have a few take downs which I use. They are not fancy but works for me. I am far from a take down wizard and it is a thing I need to work on. I do have a few up my sleeve which works for me.⠀ ⠀ I use the pulling motion to get a reaction, stiff arm, pick the leg and push forward.
