I hate Ryan Howard but......

BJ Novak. He seems hilarious, a great actor and this makes him seem very attractive. Maybe this is because I’m drunk currently. But watching The Office for about the millionth time. I’ve learned to appreciate and love BJ Novak in this show. I know he’ll never see this. But thank you. This is my favorite show. And you are such a strong part of it.

            B. J. Novak is an American actor, writer, producer and director. He is best known for playing Ryan Howard in The Office. Novak has also appeared in: Inglourious Basterds (2009), The Smurfs (2011), The Dictator (2012), The Internship (2013), Saving Mr. Banks (2013), and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014).

            Novak (Benjamin Joseph Manaly Novak) was born and raised in Newton, Massachusetts, US. His family is Jewish, his father was the ghost writer for the memoirs for Nancy Reagan and Magic Johnson. Novak attended the same high school with The Office co-star and good friend, John Krasinski. Novak studied English and Spanish literature at university.

            After hearing Novak at the comedy club, The Office executive producer Greg Daniels cast him as Ryan Howard and he was later made an executive producer and director of numerous episodes of the show. Novak was the script writer for many of the episodes.

            Novak is a close friend with Mindy Kaling who played Kelly Kapoor on The Office. The two had a relationship on screen as well as off screen.
