Izuku knocks lightly before letting himself into Katsuki’s room. It’s dark, the curtains pulled over to keep out the afternoon sun. He carefully closes the door and approaches the bed. He keeps his voice low—not whispering, more of a murmur. “I brought an ice pack, Kacchan.”

Katsuki groans, but carefully lifts his head from under the pillow. Izuku lays the ice pack on his neck and watches some of the tension bleed out of his friend’s back.

Katsuki had hissed, “make it stop,” hours ago, and Izuku’s done all he can to help with his migraine. It’ll stop soon… hopefully.
