I CANNOT BELIEVE han and leia spent three years living together in a cave in the snow and didn’t make a single move on each other despite (a) han solo being the neediest lovesick nerd commander in the galaxy who wandered around a military base proclaiming his undying love in various and increasingly uncool ways, (b) leia organa being exactly the type of person who---frustrated by the rebellion’s lack of progress and han solo being a twelve-year old boy and the always-unexpected surge of grief when she remembers there’s nowhere for her to go back to---would be very likely to deal with her emotions by not dealing with them and instead shoving han solo up against a wall and kissing him

(I mean, canonically this is a strategy that has been shown to work, although it was luke she kissed. Still, han shut up real quick.)
