Love In the Air RAIN → Hufflepuff: Friendly, Resilient, Passionate 

▴ Half Blood ▴ Sixth Year student. ▴ Should genuinely come with his own health and safety warning. *BE ADVISED: Walking Disaster Armed with a Wand Approaching* ▴ Has caused more than his fair share of classroom disasters. In fact, there’s a rumour he holds the record for most spontaneous combustions in Hogwarts history. Sig claims he’s actually seen the tally chart in Headmistress McGonagall’s office. But it’s Sig so that could be completely made up.  ▴ Lovably idiot, but he pulls through when it counts. For his friends especially. When he spotted a certain scowling Slytherin in their first week at Hogwarts sitting alone under a tree during lunch, he knew they’d be best friends. The feelings weren’t exactly mutual but Rain is persistent and eventually he wore the prickly boy down. ▴ Recently he’s attracted the attention of a senior Ravenclaw who consistently scolds him for his bad language and his failing grades (who does he think he is? his daddy or something?).  ▴ Determined to prove his egotistical senior wrong, he stays up all night perfecting his defence incantation for the next days Defence Against The Dark Arts duel exam. He practises so hard he’s exhausted himself to the point where he doesn’t wake for almost two days. His friends worry, his teacher is disappointed but not surprised, and Rain scuttles out of the hospital wing with his aching head hung low and tears rolling down his cheeks.  ▴ Payu finds him sniffling outside the Ravenclaw common room. He doesn’t ask why Rain is there, which is a good thing because Rain doesn’t know and he’s too tired and pathetic to try and work it out. Payu just hugs him and tells him it’s going to be okay as long as next time, he does better.

Love In the Air PRAPAI → Hufflepuff: Dependable, Patient, Kind 

▴ Pure Blood ▴ Seventh Year student. ▴ Quidditch Team Seeker and Hufflepuff Head Boy.   ▴ Is equal parts rich, handsome and charming. And boy does he know it. But don’t let the good looks and cocky attitude fool you, he is quite possibly the purest embodiment of Hufflepuff you could wish to meet when it matters. ▴ Though he has a heart of gold, his loyalty is not not free. It is selective based on a strict application process. Or you’re just a naughty Slytherin sneaking around places you shouldn’t reading books you most definitely shouldn’t. ▴ Prapai may or may not abuse his authority with Rain when he realises his junior Hufflepuff is friends with the mysterious Slytherin, or Sky, as he reminds himself when he sits across him in the dinning hall for the first time, offering the stewed eggs he spent hours conjuring after he couldn’t get the boys sweet lips out of his head.  ▴ Despite his noncommittal intentions, it doesn’t take long for Prapai to realise something is not quite as okay as the young Slytherin would have his friends believe. The cutting remarks, the sad eyes, the trembling fingers. How he barely eats, doesn't sleep and works himself to exhaustion.  ▴ He doesn’t know what happened to Sky to make him so afraid of his own shadow, and it’s not his place to ask. But he hopes with enough gentle encouragement, he’ll allow himself to smile again.  ▴ Besides, he’s pretty sure ‘Go AWAY’ is just Slytherin for ‘please don’t leave’ at this point.

KinnPorsche KINN → Gryffindor: Confident, Wary, Brave

▴ Pure Blood. ▴ Professor of Defence Against the Dark Arts.  ▴ Quidditch Team Captain in his day. Also Head Boy and top of his class in every subject. Passed the O.W.L’s with record breaking heights and awarded the second highest number of achievements in the schools modern history.  ▴ Revered by many when he was a student, but loathed just the same. Rumour has it, his fathers influence was the only reason for his vast awards cabinet, one that still remains at Hogwarts for new students to marvel over to this day. ▴ Despite the countless job offers from the ministry, he chose to go against his fathers wishes and became a teacher. Korn thinks it beneath the great family name, to be little more than a babysitter. But Kinn often reminds his father than the great Albus Dumbledore was once just a ‘babysitter’.  ▴ Shortly after his father is promoted within the ministry, Kinn receives a promotion of his own and is appointed as the head of Defence Against the Dark Arts at Hogwarts. He doesn’t question the coincidence, he’s learned to pick his battles where his father is concerned.  ▴ But a higher profile within the wizarding world comes with its risks, and when three attempts are made on his life in less than as many months, his father insists on hiring a bodyguard.  ▴ Kinn doesn’t know what he imagined, but a low level two time drop out with not to much as a wand to his name wasn’t it.  ▴ He’s also not expecting to spend more time worrying about his bodyguard than himself. He just hopes none of the students find out how many times they’ve made out in the very classroom he teaches in.

- Hogwarts Moodboard : BL Edition -

KinnPorsche PORSCHE → Slytherin: Determined, Resourceful, Loyal

▴ Half Blood. ▴ Caretaker of Hogwarts. ▴ He attended Hogwarts for just under four years. After both his parents died in a mysterious accident, he left the wizarding world to take care of his muggle brother. ▴ When Porchay received his own letter (much to the shock of everyone), Porsche dusted off the trunk hidden under his bed and joined his little brother on the train back to Hogwarts. He was expelled the following year for participating in underage duels in an attempt to pay off the debt his parents left.  ▴ He spent a few years working at the Leaky Cauldron and made a decent name for himself in the underground wizarding tournaments under the alias, Phoenix, after his mother who was a Gryffindor. Until he’s arrested and put in front of the ministry court for the illegal possession of a wand having never passed his O.W.L’s.  ▴  The judge offers him two options. One, leave the wizarding world and never see his brother again or face a heavy prison sentence. Two, return to Hogwarts under the guise as the new caretaker to watch over and protect the new Defence Against The Dark Arts professor who has a target on his back, and just happens to be the judges son.   ▴ The hours are shitty and the pay is abysmal (no wonder Filch was always such a grouch), but Porsche can’t complain too much. His debts have been paid, he gets to stay to his brother, and the view at his new post better than Azkaban at least. ▴ His new boss might be a dick, but he’s pretty easy on the eyes and even better in the sheets. Maybe returning to the world of magic wasn't such a bad idea after all.

- Hogwarts Moodboard : BL Edition -

Bad Buddy PRAN → Ravenclaw : Creative, Witty, Cynical

▴ Half blood. ▴ Fifth Year student. ▴ Sarcastic and witty.  ▴ Small friendship circle, luckily with the same sense of humour.  ▴ Independent, though often to his own detriment. He’d jump in front of a possessed Bludger for his two best friends, but being open about what goes on inside his head is another matter. Trusting people is risky and making connections is hard. Sometimes it feels like there’s not a single person in the world that actually knows him.  ▴ A true Ravenclaw at heart, he found comfort in exploring the world. Trying out new hobbies, learning about whatever piqued his interest. ▴ He liked most things just fine, but music was where he found his solace. Until that cheating spoilt brat Pat ruined it for him by being just everywhere. He was the Dementor sucking the life out of Pran’s family until his mother had enough and moved them half way across the Muggle world.  ▴ Pran’s life was peaceful (if lonely), for two whole years until he received his Hogwarts letter. What were the chances he had an empty seat next to him on the train and a stupidly familiar and infuriatingly smug face sat down beside him?  ▴ One day he’s studying in the library when he hears a sound. A song. He can’t place it but it makes his chest ache almost painfully that he can’t stop himself when his feet move to find it.  ▴ “That’s mine, asshole,” when he walks around a corner and there’s that smug face again. The face asks if he wants it back, he looks so sad like he might cry but he holds out the instrument and Pran spots his name he scratched into the wood the day he got it. “No, I don’t want anything from you. Just stay the hell away from me.”  ▴ Famous last words. Because Pat bugs him more than ever after that and eventually, Pran runs out of energy to keep conjuring up doors to slam in his face.  ▴ It’s not until Pat is the one taking a Bludger to the head that Pran realises that there is one person that knows him in this world. One person who's always known him. Shit, he’s going to kill that person after Madam Pomfrey pieces his skull back together.  ▴ “I hate you,” he cries quietly into the scratchy hospital blankets pulled up to Pat’s chest. There was so much blood, there’s still so much bruising. Pat looks awful but he’s still the one comforting Pran. Warm hands in his hair, murmured words of love close to his ear. The smug asshole.

Bad Buddy PAT (NAPAT) → Gryffindor : Passionate, Stubborn, Playful

▴ Half blood.  ▴ Fifth Year student. ▴ Gryffindor Team Beater. ▴ Lovable dork, adored by many.  ▴ Multitalented, though only through sheer force by his parents. ▴ Hopeless at basic domestic chores. Whether it’s a conjuring spell for food or simple muggle practise using a stove, he will burn and most likely mildly poison anyone who has the courage (stupidity) to try his cooking. (Just ask Korn...or maybe don’t.) ▴ He joined countless clubs as a junior wizard, both muggle and magical, anything that would mean he had to compete with the rival neighbours son and best him.  ▴ When it became clear he would not be as musically or artistically gifted as the boy next door, Pat was made to push forward with his sporting talents instead. During his third year at Hogwarts, despite playing the tryouts with two barely healed cracked ribs and a week old concussion, his father was pleased to say the least when Pat made the Quidditch Team shortlist and Pran did not. It should have felt better than it did that day.  ▴ Despite his fathers strict instructions to focus on his studies and his Quidditch, sometimes Pat misses music. Maybe he wasn’t the best, maybe he wasn’t good enough for his fathers expectations, but he was still pretty good. So where’s the harm in dabbling with those dusty guitar strings that belonged to a boy he tried to hate but couldn’t no matter how hard he tried?  ▴ One day he’s caught by that boy. In the library because his silence spell wasn’t as good as he thought it was and there’s two big eyes, kind of angry but kind of cute, staring at him from behind a book shelf.  ▴ The rest is sort of history. Filled with curse words,  scraped knuckles and more tears than Pat cares to count. He just hopes one day they can stop pretending to hate each other and hold hands when it’s not just the two of them alone on the Covered Bridge or in the hospital wing. ▴ "Don’t cry, don’t cry. I’m fine,” he whispers under candlelight while the boy cries into Pat’s chest and tells him how much he hates him. Pat runs his fingers through Pran’s dark hair at his nape, smiling even though it hurts. “I love you, too.”

Hello my loves! Happy new year, I hope you’ve been well and 2022 has been good to you so far. 

I’ve finally decided to reopen and rekindle my love for my BL Hogwarts House universe, but I need your help. There’s a good handful of new BL pairings that have blossomed in recents months but I’m struggling to place any of them into their respective houses.

2gether: The Series TINE TEEPAKORN → Hufflepuff : Kind, Optimistic, Passive

▴ Muggle Born ▴ Seventh Year student. ▴ Excited about everything.  ▴ Always late for class.  ▴ Loses his cat, Scrubbs, almost daily.  ▴ Might be the only Muggle Born in the history of Hogwarts to be failing Muggle Studies.  ▴ Accidentally turned a mysterious Ravenclaw’s hair purple in Charms class in their first year. The professor thought it best they both find new partners after that incident. The boy didn’t seem too mad though, and he weirdly kept the purple hair for weeks until the charm faded on its own.  ▴ Dating Sarawat (Ravenclaw).   ▴ Close friends with Fong (Hufflepuff), Phuak (Gryffindor) and Ohm (Hufflepuff).
