Iceland
Woman by sign blown down during hurricane—Virginia Beach, Florida, 1950.
Pressure and protests by Miami’s Black citizens for a beach exclusive to African Americans saw white city officials oblige to their demands in establishing the Virginia Key Beach State Park in 1945. Courtesy of the State Archives of Florida, Florida Memory.

Where the ocean meets the void —
blue whispers dissolve into black silence.
Somewhere between chaos and calm, I breathe 🌊
Black Beach
Concept drawing of a black beach the volcanic island Eldis in the Siderian-world. It's quite like an Iceland equivalent and this location is obviously inspired by Reynisfjara.
The two Siderians featured are my friend RiverRaven's characters called Fannar (black, to the right) and his father Ragnar (brown, to the left) and some ecal that could be a form of Ysal or Luminal. The two Siderians were wearing some little backpacks since they were collecting stuff and/or studying the area. They had stuff to do...
Art, and Siderian species by me. Characters by my friend RiverRaven. Don't copy and/or use my art without my permission. Don’t use the appearance of Siderians to represent some other character or species; they are who they are and they will not represent someone else.
