Her skin had lost its vibrancy. The flecks of gold and deep shadows of mahogany that radiated the sun were now ashen and dull. Her scent, once rich in depth, permeating the air wherever she stood with layers of roasted coconut and hibiscus had become faint; barely perceptible even in the midst of a wuthering wind. She was out of her element. Far from home. An ocean away from her life force. His Michonne was dying, and he only had himself to blame.
