The way Dad asked me why didn’t I take up my sister’s suggestion on joining an adult interest group to make new friends (when somehow I feel like they want me to find a bf🙄) and I told him that I heard the suggestion but I’m rejecting it.

Mini ramble before I go onto my next Sub
So like sometimes I would chat with my friend over tele during work and I was mentioning to her about how the school finally opened one of the rooms to let the students play boardgames during lunchtime AFTER multiple teachers and myself raised this to management. Back then they were like oh we don't have enough duty teachers and I'm here like I get that y'all are incredibly busy but the library being overcrowded cannot be a consequence of the school's shit infrastructure.
Anyways, I basically feel like whenever I say something that might have negative undertones towards the teachers (NOT my intention) my friend would defend them and I'm like??? I know you're a teacher but how about me as an actual librarian not doing my actual shit?
