In 1972 Kenner Toys introduced Blythe, an 11" tall fashion doll which only sold for one year. Fast forward to 2001 Japanese toy company Takara began producing new editions of Blythe dolls. In her entire history, there was never a brown like me version. Until artists like Kai at @mydeliciousbliss began taking a brush in hand and began doing it for themselves.
