In this video, I break down why so many racist white people don’t even understand the root of their own hatred. Their views aren’t based on reality or real interactions with Black people, they’re based on inherited lies, social media stereotypes, and narratives designed to keep us “in our place.” From passive-aggressive behavior online to the constant twisting of anything Black people do, this video exposes how shallow and baseless their hate really is. At the end of the day, they don’t know us. They only know the version of us that racism created. If you’ve ever wondered why they treat us this way, this video lays it all out clearly.

A while back I listened to Carrier from QCode ( @qcodemedia ). Carrier is awesome and was nominated for a 2020 iHeartRadio Podcast award, and listed on Apple podcasts as the Best Fiction Show of 2019. Starring the multi-talented, Cynthia Erivo (winner of a 2017 Emmy Award, a Tony Award, and a 2017 Grammy Award, nominations for two Academy Awards, and numerous other nominations.), and an all-star cast, Cynthia plays Raylene Watts. Raylene is a long haul trucker, who desperately needs money to pay her father's hospital bills. When she misses a deliver window due to unnecessary police interaction, Raylene gets a phone call offering a mysterious, lucrative side job her father used to run. The promise of instant cash is too good to pass up. The only issue is, it's for a cold storage run, which she's never done before, and she is *not* allowed to open the trailer. *Do* *not* *open* *the trailer*. Done in immersive, high fidelity, 3D sound, much like Alice Isn't Dead, I would not recommend this for car listening (due to loud driving related noises and trailer sounds), but headphones or stereo would be a great choice. At 7, 20ish minute episodes, however you listen, you will not regret this amazing and thrilling tale of suspense. My only complaint was that it wasn't longer!

Sixty years ago, four African American college students quietly sat down at a whites-only Woolworth's lunch counter in Greensboro, North Carolina, and waited.

This was a really neat artistic tribute to one of the turning points in the Civil Rights movement. Read the link if you aren’t aware of the story of these four brave men and what they did.

After this live I'm going to take a mini-break from uploading content. I want to preserve my energy to prevent burn out and discontent. However, these reactions feel another possible future segment that I would like to hold in a private space. This segment would focus on media representation and how it parallels Blackistan.
