just like...why lie?? i would have been way more inclined to keep my findings to myself if she hadn’t lied to me.. also, the kicker: four of the files in the pile i had been looking for for so long that i made new files for them...so now i have duplicates taking up space in the file cabinet.... nonsense

we keep meaning to and then no one’s schedules ever line up :( i work an 8-5 job weekdays and ari and logan work kinda sporadic schedules but yes we should tc again soon ( @rhubabe & @pronun )

game: the last board game i played was SOMETHING WITH ELEANOR probably i think just a pizzle but probably jungle speed. thats not a board game whatever,

read: well i just borowed two books from roanoke "hillbilly nationalists, urban race rebels, and black power" about community organizing in radical times, and "the hungry self; women, eating, and identity" about identity correlations with womens relationship with food they are neat i hope i actually read them

when did you start collecting/reading comics? is there someone/thing that really sparked your interest?

I started reading proper comics (I used to read dandy and beano) in like 89/90. I picked up an issue of 2000ad and was immediately hooked. Judge Dredd was my first comic book love. He was a badass mofo and I was all ‘I wanna be judge dredd when I grow up’ I continued reading those and some others for a few years but then I discovered porn and the comics kinda got forgotten. And then sometimes in the late 90’s someone handed me vol 1of Preacher and told me to read it. HOly SHIT!!1!! I was once again back in love with comics.

I then read all of that and started reading anything I could get my hands on (hellboy, sandman the usual stuff)

And I only started actively collecting them just over 2 years ago when I was made redundant.
