So in this au, since Pure Vanilla became the leader of the order, they became a lot more accepting of cookies leaving if they decide to go onto another path. Yes this isn't how actual cults work, buttttt the order wanted willing cookies to sacrifice so I don't think they would force cookies into becoming one with the avatar.
Pastry Cookie, the first ever to leave, became a teacher in the Timeless Kingdom (which the creme republic now oversees). She taught basic subjects to the raisin cookies and met Black Raisin through that, gaining a tsundere attachment to her.
Black Forest, while still the Cake Bride in disguise, liked Wedding Cake so much she decided to stay. She is currently a dress maker, liking making pretty dresses like she had for others.
While these two will never fully recover, I wanted to show how different this pastry order is compared to the canon one. It's still horrible, however their tactics are more... conniving. Especially since these two can never see their loved ones in the order again after leaving. Basically starting from nothing.
