Open letter to my lovelies. Past, present, future.

It’s probably just because I graduated this Thursday, but I’ve been super nostalgic lately. Remembering how far i’ve come these past looong years has really made me grateful for the people in my life who’ve led me to be who I am today. Even if we don’t talk anymore, or aren’t on great terms, or whatever, I still sometimes think about how things used to be. How I became who I am today because of how things were before. It’s... really beautiful, actually.

So yeah. I’m not really sure what this is, other than a huge, open thank you letter. Thank you, all of you, for being my friend at one point or another. Thank you to the current friends, the ex-friends, the lost URLs, the vague acquaintances, the people on my dash that i’ve had maybe 3 conversations with in my life but still kind of have a general fondness towards, and those who really just don’t know where we stand anymore. I feel like I didn’t appreciate any of you the way that you deserved to be.

Thank you for shaping who I am. Thank you for opening your hearts to me. Thank you for helping me understand my identity in a way that I never thought I could. I’m sorry for all the times I didn’t understand how much you meant to me, or if I treated you in a way you didn’t deserve. You mean more to me than you could ever understand.

Thank you, for everything. For just being my friend when I needed it the most. I don’t really know where you’ll go, but I know that you’ll continue to shape people’s lives and help people grow. I pray you guys find yourselves in others, and continue to age and mature like I did.
