The next item on my list of "old" shows is Blade, a 2006 series that ran for a single season.
I've been a fan of the Wesley Snipes movie trilogy for many years (and I can't wait to see the version played by Mahershala Ali!) so my expectations were pretty high, but this show is quite good! I like the character of Krista, and while Blade is a taciturn, stoic character, Sticky effectively portrays the daywalker's determination and quiet humanity in his fight against vampires.
Fun fact: in the first episode Marc Spector, one of Moon Knight's personalities, is mentioned as and expert on werewolves. I wonder if it's a comic reference.
Finally finished my Blades and how I want him looking in Claws Like Mine installment 3!

I recently read a Blade comic for the first time (I don't read Marvel comics much, but I got a collection of random horror comics recently and there was a random Marvel anthology comic in there with two stories about Blade) and I'm now realizing that Blade is cool and I should have looked into him cooler.
Like, don't get me wrong, I knew who he was, but only really because of that two part Halloween episode of Ultimate Spiderman where he teamed up with Spiderman to fight Dracula (it was cool as hell).
I don't know why I didn't look into him sooner, his whole concept is right up my alley. But I like him now and I'm planning on tracking down the movies so I can learn more about him.
comic blade before wesley snipes blade trilogy was atrocious. wesley snipes not only reinvented this obscure character, he also made it popular bringing new life into it. some people may have forgotten that this what comic blade look like this and after blade movies came out the comics literally inherited snipes blade movie design and it's been that way ever since.
Snipes is Blade - the one and only.
