To add onto my earlier ask. Of the self aware au.
The siblings one.
While they wait at the payload for a sec
"Hey, switch to blade real quick."
"K"
The presence switches from luna to blade, and the brother switches to luna.
"Watch this."
The presence' brothers proceeds to ice skate up hill.
Both the presence and the brother "mother fuckers always trying to ice skate up hill."
And both start laughing.
"God i love blade."
"Me too!"
While the rest of the crew just chuckle in amusement. Blade can't help but grin. He has fans.
Marvel Rivals Self-Aware AU: To quote the Daywalker
Today’s match was special, for the Presence had brought their brother along to help with the mission.
Whenever the two Presences worked together, the enemy team never stood a chance. It was always effortless—almost unfair. And honestly, the best part was listening to their constant commentary: overlapping thoughts, half-baked jokes, and the kind of rambling only siblings who shared a brain-adjacent connection could manage.
As the team escorted the Avatar of Krakoa, the Presence everyone was used to piloting Luna’s body with their usual ease, their brother suddenly spoke up.
“Hey—switch to Blade real quick.”
“K.”
No hesitation. No warning.
Luna watched as her body was swallowed in blinding white light. For a split second, everything dissolved—and then Blade stood where she had been moments before, swaying slightly. He looked dizzy, but otherwise unharmed, just like every other time the Presence abruptly swapped hosts.
They had once described the sensation as light travel—painless, but disorienting. Like blinking and realizing you were suddenly somewhere else entirely.
But Luna didn’t have long to dwell on it. She felt the familiar tickling sensation bloom at the back of her skull again, shifting—subtly different this time. A presence she recognized instantly.
The brother.
It felt similar to the usual control, but not quite the same. Same wavelength, different rhythm.
“Watch this.”
Without another word, the Presence’s brother took over—and promptly made Luna ice-skate up a nearby hill, boots sliding effortlessly over frozen ground that absolutely should not have supported it.
Then, in perfect unison, both the Presence and their brother spoke—mangling Blade’s voice into a dramatic, unmistakable quote: “Motherfuckers always tryin’ to ice skate uphill.”
And then they lost it.
Their laughter rang out across the entire map, echoing off ruined structures and jungle canopies alike, loud enough that even the enemy team probably heard it.
“God, I love Blade.”
“Me too!”
The rest of the team couldn’t help but react.
A small, amused smile curved across Storm’s face. The Thing let out a deep, gravelly chuckle that rattled every stony plate in his massive body. Venom rolled his eyes—though the faint twitch at the corner of his mouth betrayed him. Rocket, meanwhile, doubled over with a full-bellied laugh.
Blade himself? He just grinned.
He had fans, even if they were invisible, disembodied, and mildly unsettling voices piloting reality—but they had taste.
That kind of admiration did wonders for the Daywalker’s ego… and for his already ironclad resolve to wipe out the eternal night for good.
“Okay, okay,” the Presence said at last. “Back to the mission.”
“You bet. Let’s go!”
And with that, they wrapped up yet another effortless victory—thanks to the unlikely duo that was the Presence and their brother.
Two kids. One battlefield.
And an uncanny knack for having fun while saving the world.
