“SCARLET!!!” he gasps and moves to give her a hug--only to flinch as a sharp pain from his abdomen around to his pelvis. Quickly correcting himself, and hoping she hadn’t caught that twinge in his eyes, he moved his free hand to rub behind his neck and laugh nervously.
“You could say that, haha. But like any other day, I’m still standing, and so is Camp Campbell! So I’d say, despite the usual chaos, it’s been going well so far!”
