@bladesofeclipse Like sparks, a group of glowing golden fish swirled and jumped around the rowboat of an especially curious group of children at night. They reached out to try to touch the surprisingly elusive fish as the creatures guided them to the farthest point of the shore. "It's night already! We should go back! Paps is gonna kill me!" One boy cried to one of the rowers, a girl. "Oh come on Charlie! I have to catch one of these blasted fish first!" Another retorted, trying to use his shirt as a net, "They'll fetch a pretty penny, they will!" "Look! I see more of them! It's just like the legend said! They're so beautiful~!" A girl cried out excitedly, pausing her rowing to point to a glowing spot in the water, which shone with a rainbow of colors. Much to Charlie's despair the girl paddled so they were floating right above the glowing spots. The fish catcher seized the chance to jump out of the boat and grab onto an especially large fish. "GotcHA-AAABLRRBRBR-!" He was pulled into the water "KEVIN!" Charlie and the girl cried out, leaning out of the rowboat to try to grab him. With a nudge from a school of fish, the boat was flipped over, and the glow faded. The children were never seen again. From that point onwards, more and more people began to disappear every week into the lake until finally, it was outlawed to go out on it at night. - 'Cardinal Edwards' was taking a walk alongside the infamous lake, dressed in a casual outfit with a long coat swaying at his sides, his hands in in pockets. He looked to the lake, wearing a troubled expression that was not completely an act.
