Mom just sent me this photo of my Ariados hiding under my bed back in Alola. I'm surprised she can fit under there.

Rusty sent us some photos from his trip to Kalos. Calliope and Chavo (Noivern and Hawlucha) were his first two Pokemon, and I'm very proud of him for taking good care of them. Calliope even managed to evolve - Cas wishes she were there to see it.
Hey! So, it's been quite a while, I figured I should make you all aware of what's been going on.
First off, my son is graduating from Naranja Academy and is going to start a journey in Kalos in a few months. I've been making plans to take time off work and head to Paldea for that. He'll be home for a few months while we get him prepared - Naranja Academy doesn't necessarily provide graduates with the essentials they need to travel on their own - and I'm talking to a professor friend of mine to help him get a starter. He has his own phone, so I'll likely let him use this account to post updates about his journey.
Second, I ended up finding my old trainer diaries in storage. Reading through them, I feel like they would provide good insight into what being a trainer is like. They're probably not very entertaining, but I'm considering transcribing them and posting them on this blog in chunks. I'd be very happy to hear feedback on this idea!
Finally, I'm thinking about changing the name of the blog entirely - it's not just me using it, after all! I'm not decided on the new name yet, but I'll make a post so everyone is informed. Aster's made it very clear that seeing an old friend with a new username can be stressful if you're not in the loop.
Aside from that, it's been business as usual here. If you're ever near Castelia City and need daycare services, feel free to look us up!
Cas and Snap say hi, by the way!
