JChambersOnline on twitter confirmed there was an actress hired to play Young Jo and we've seen Young Alex on set and in BTS photos with Camilla and Justin. Most people are assuming we'll get a jolex loft scene because Nicole the set decorator posted a video of the Loft all set up with a prop during the same time they were filming 14x15. Though, it could be for an episode before or after.

This is so funny to me because as someone with no background in science beyond my junior year chemistry class which I passed with a C, the entire basis of Jo’s innovative idea sounds a-okay to me and you’re entire post, Nova, was like reading fourteenth century Latin, blindfolded. I’m so jealous that you can understand things like this and please tell us more about your research and ALSO, if I may add, I think you might like this weeks episode and what could potentially come from what we learn
