1/3rd of the way in on my nature tone blanket and I decided stripes on their own are too boring. Cue to me finishing my last solid row closing of my row and starting to make little double crochet squares (like 15st by 7 rows) and sewing them on. It looks a bit ridiculous because im not weaving in my ends at any point (too many with all my color changes and I was honestly too lazy to hide them with all the color changes. I don't know why i keep starting projects with bernat, velvet, or chenille yarn because all they do is piss me off and hurt my fingers/ hands to work with.
