Ok this was so fun! I love tedoire but I’ve never really given much time to my headcanons about them! (which this was actually good because I have a prompt about them waiting)
Who’s the first to wake up in the morning:
Ummmmm Teddy? I kinda headcanon him as ending up a curse breaker? Idk if there’s any JKR input on this, but I think the whole Teddy working the same job as Bill thing is amazing and I want it to be real. So anyway, I think since he’s working in a kind of bank-y setting that involves travel, he probably has an earlier start and gets up early. And then on his days off, he doesn’t like to waste time sleeping (but he might stay in bed and read or something)
(Plus I think Teddy likes gardening so he gets it done in the early hours before it’s too hot)
Who’s the one to make breakfast:
Victoire! I think she likes to sneak out of bed while Teddy’s taking his morning shower and get breakfast ready for him before he’s dressed.
Who’s the one to serve the other breakfast in bed:
Teddy! I have this idea that before Teddy and Victoire get together, he goes to Bill and Fleur’s under the pretense of getting lessons in French cooking from Fleur, and he goes so much that he gets super good. (And he still goes for lessons/cooking together after he gets with Victoire because they’ve bonded)
Who would suggest a quickie in the morning before work:
Victoire! She’s like “Teeeeeddddyyy I stayed awaaaakkkeee at this awful hour so it’s the leaast you can do,” and he doesn’t need to be asked twice. Although Bill gives him the stink eye when he’s late for work and a little mussed, so they make a rule about the amount of time they need to leave for quickies.
Who suggests they both ditch work to lay around all day:
I think Victoire. Teddy’s all hard working Hufflepuff and sometimes he gets a little too stressed so Victoire tries to convince him to take a rest day with her. (Idk what exactly I think she does, but I kind of imagine it being a little flexible schedule wise, maybe freelance or something like a reporter for the Quibbler?? Or something with magical creatures?)
I think they make monthly lists together where they pick Friday night movies and watch them in their flat. (they prefer at home rather than the theater mostly)
Who initiates kissing during the moving, thus distracting the other from the movie all together:
Teddy gets a little caught up in Victoire and her scent and her body pressed against his (and this is just about her not about any Veela blood) and he tries to casually initiate things and then she just turns to him like, “If you want to shag, just say it so I can pause the film before we miss too much.”
Victoire picks up lunch (freelance^^) and brings it to wherever Teddy’s working (if he’s at Gringott’s they have lunch with Bill too)
Who steals food from the other’s plate without asking:
Both! I think it’s more like a game than actually wanting the food, where they compete to see who can snatch a bite without the other noticing.
Who curls up next to the other and falls asleep due to a full tummy:
Victoire. Teddy learned how to make lots of heavy meals from Fleur and they’re delicious but also make Victoire very sleepy.
Who distracts the other from trying to work at home:
Teddy! He’s a hard worker, but tends to do it all at the office (which often involves staying late at work) and so when he’s home, he’s free for fun. But Victoire’s weird hours mean she does work from home a lot. And Teddy tries to be patient but sometimes he reads something she’d like or makes a snack for both of them or just really wants to snog and it’s difficult.
Who asks to go get ice cream like a five year old:
Teddy! Victoire likes ice cream, but it’s not her favorite. Still, she goes with Teddy and gets some too because he’s adorable when he’s excited.
Who takes pictures of their partner eating ice cream:
Victoire (re: Teddy + ice cream = excited and excited Teddy = adorable)
Who makes a sexual joke about the dripping ice cream on their partner’s face:
TEDDY. But he blushes immediately.
I think both of them cook, but Teddy likes to cook for Victoire, especially since he learned to cook from Fleur and Molly so he knows all her favorites.
Who cleans up the kitchen afterwards:
Together! It’s faster and also they can get all touchy with each other.
Who stays up until 2 reading:
Victoire! She gets all caught up in something and can’t put it down. Sometimes, Teddy tries to get her to go to sleep to, but other times, he just snuggles next to her hip and goes to sleep.
Who stares at their partner while their sleeping:
Victoire, because usually, Teddy gets relaxed enough that his hair turns back to his natural shade and his face is wrinkle free and calm, so he looks very young and boyish. Also, sometimes, if he’s having a particularly lively dream, his hair will cycle through the rainbow of colors and she loves to catch that.
Who kisses their partner while they sleep:
I think they both do! Victoire when she’s up late and he’s already sleeping, and Teddy when Victoire sleeps through his alarms and he doesn’t want to wake her before he leaves for work (this happens particularly when he’s got to be at an excavation site far away and he’s got to leave well before the sun’s up).
