Still frustrating (Bleach)

One thing that constantly annoys me about how the fandom dealt and continues to deal with bleach chapter 589 is the total ignorance with regards to Urahara’s role in the whole set up.

Urahara didn’t get half as much crap for getting Orihime in that outfit and yet he was the grown up in that scenario.

The fact of the matter is this:

A teenage girl is held more responsible than the adult who tricked her into wearing a revealing outfit

A teenage girl is subsequently called a whore and desperate for attention because of it

If it was another character, would the fandom have been more sympathetic?

People really didn’t give a crap about how awfully the adults acted in that scenario but would rake the teenager up and down the coals because she’s not their favorite character.

It is simply disgusting.

Seriously the sexism in this fandom is awful no matter how much people try to dress it up.

Tl:dr: If your outrage over the ‘titty’ dress rests with Orihime instead of the adults who tricked her into wearing it you have your priorities wrong

Guys, oh my doughnuts. I'm at the library and they have the Bleach Volume 65, and I'm looking at Chapter 589, and guess what? Ichigo says, "I do kinda think she's revealing too much, but..." ICHIGO SAYS "BUT", he got caught off, but still though, that means he wanted to say something else!!! THEN YORUICHI SAYS, "You think a girl enjoys wearing that?" Also, "She's wearing it cuz some perv tricked her into it." AKA, the perv but adorable Urahara!!!!!! Guys, this is the official translation, I love ichihime so much.

Why would some people think that in chapter 589, that Orihime wore those clothes to get Ichigo’s attention? And, apparently “that she probably asked Chad to ask Ichigo of her clothes.” That’s obviously bullshit, seriously though. Can’t people read what it says, it’s literally right there, it says that Urahara planned it all. She just wanted to make Ichigo happy, it’s not like she went up and asked Urahara to make her that dress, no, instead Urahara came up with the design and the plan. And, Chad didn’t know any of it, until Orihime explained. And even Yoruichi spoke up, out of all of that, that is what surprised me the most. Yoruichi is literally vouching for Orihime, and also trying to tell Ichigo that he should of said something else other than what he said.

I don't understand why detractors try to argue that Ichigo wasn't blushing at Orihime because he wasn't looking at her but at Chad instead.

It's a stupid argument to start with, but did they forget this panel exist or something?

He was clearly staring at Orihime here. While still blushing.
