In some weird way I think having this gigantic, super-powered, sentient left hand as an enemy is really damn cool. I really do appreciate the little snippets of Nemu too. Love ya Nemu.

Okay I am 60% sure at this point that the Soul King's appendages are going to be extremely important later on. Like we've seen his arms so far, and I think what Ichigo killed was the torso. What if Yhwach turns out to be like the Soul King's eyes or something? That's could be why he is all seeing and called the Soul King his father? If that happens I'm pretty sure Ichigo will end up being the Soul King's heart or something. Because if Kubo's love for heart metaphors and desire to make Ichigo literally everything.

Why the fuck is the Soul King's left arm working for Yhawch? Is it even the Soul King's left arm? Like what the fuck Kubo?? Are the Soul King's legs going to make an appearance as well???

Something funny about Pernida

Okay so I’ve already seen quite a few people making hand puns related to Pernida & that’s fantastic, but after reading this chapter I just can’t stop thinking about silly funny situations revolving around them being a hand.

- Gerard saving them from falling in that one chapter: “Hey Pernida need a HAND!?”

- Pernida playing rock, paper, scissors w/ the other elites.

- Using it’s entire “head” to make hand signs for the appropriate situation: Sticking up a peace sign for a photo, cross fingers for good luck, and when they’re mad at someone they just turn their back to them and stick up a gigantic middle fingure.

And also, how the heck does Pernida move? Do they run around on their fingers like Thing from the Addams Family? With the cloak on wouldn’t that look like Pernida scuttling around on their face XD?

Bleach 637 Manga Chapter Review ブリーチ - Pernidas’ Form Revealed! What next for Mayuri?

In this week’s chapter of Bleach, the fight between Mayuri and Pernidas continues after stabbing Kenpachi in the back. This is my spoilerific review of Chapter 637, “Baby, Hold Your Hand”. That sounded like a overrated 90s Pop Song

Well, Kenpachi is now paralyzed 

Apparently, Kenpachi’s eyes can still move. And Ikkaku’s pissed

All right gang, it’s time to see what Pernidas really look like

So it just found out that Pernidas is indeed one of many limbs of the Soul King...and have the same Reiatsu as Ukitake when knocked out

That’s one giant arm. 

Like I said, same Reiatsu as Ukitake when knocked out after Yhwach absorbed the Mimihagi.

Okay...there goes the nail clipping and the mani pedis

And Mayuri just pulled out his Umbrella

Pernidas is dripping, Ikkaku told Mayuri to retreat, and Mayuri is still looking and observing

And Mayuri got a Science Boner

Reaction/Thoughts: So what do I think about thsi week’s chapter of Bleach? I think it’s a pretty good chapter with major questions adding in to the mix revolving around Pernidas. We finally got to see Pernidas’ true form and found out that it’s the left hand of the Soul King. Which raises a lot of questions that needed to be answered. 

What happened to the other limbs of the Soul King?

How did Yhwach obtained the Soul King’s Left Arm?

How did a Left Arm turned into a Quincy?

How did Pernidas obtain the “Compulsory” title?

How do Pernidas talk when it only got an eye?

Seriously Kubo, you got a lot of questions to answer for next chapter. Anyway, with Kenpachi now out of the picture, looks like it’s Mayuri’s time to shine. Of course, we haven’t seen Mayuri fought in a real battle since...Giselle. And that when used both the Resurrected Arrancar and the dose of drugs to turn a zombie back to a person or thing’s normal self. This, Pernidas showing off his true self, is what Mayuri really hyped up for this day, and I’m really gonna enjoy for next week’s chapter. All and all, I think this chapter is a pretty good one, though we got little to no action, we did finally see what Pernidas looked like under that cloak, no longer a Jawa, but a giant left arm that is being questioned by fans. I give Chapter 637...

...a 10 out of 10. This is a pretty good chapter. Finally got the revelation on who or what Pernidas is and it’s time for Mayuri to get some action. Making Science his Bitch.
