The Broken Blade
I'm still not convinced that Renji can just randomly vanish during a fight and NOT have it revealed to be Aizen's doing
Also, could someone explain why Ichigo's sword reverted to the old, fake version when he cut down Yhwach? Did his Quincy powers activate in order to compensate for his Zanpakuto breaking?
bleach ending
i don't want this to be tooooo long. but i wanna start off by saying how amazing it feels to see your favorite manga of all time last so long and finally come to a conclusion, it honestly feels so fulfilling. i've always grown up around anime and manga but bleach was the first one that really took over my life. i borrowed the first volume from my school library and fell in love and watched the whole anime in a week (it was only up to bount arc at the time). so to me it doesn't matter so much if there's things left unanswered or characters that didn't get the full development they deserved or if the final battle should've been more epic, it feels incredible to be able to have it all come together in an ending and i can't wait for the final full colour spread chapter. i could talk for hours about every detail but i think that'd ruin my enjoyment of it. little things like (my bae) kyoraku sitting with ukitake's gravestone, all the second seats that became captains, hinamori being so healthy and carefree, toshiro being at peace, yumichika finally getting beautiful third seat (lmao) and the whole of soul society basically returning to their lives as shinigami doing their duty, fills me with so much joy and closure. my other two faves, urahara and ichigo have yet to be shown but im excited to see the human world and everyone being happy and peaceful (i would hope lol). the second top thing that made me emotional was actually ichigo defeating ywach with zangetsu. just plain old man zangetsu. there's obviously all the reasoning and symbolism behind this but to me, it cut deep (ayy) knowing that he won the battle with the one he's been with from the very start. og ichigo 4eva. and lastly. i anticipated this for a long time and had it as head canon since forever like im sure a lot of people had and it wasn't until the mention of 'the new 13th division captain' that it started to feel real. kuchiki rukia, captain of squad 13. i've never in my life burst into tears at a page. at just a panel. seeing her in the haori. i couldn't help but just cry, i literally sat with my hand over my mouth crying the happiest tears because she did it. and she's so beautiful. and so rukia about it lmao. i've never felt more proud of a fictional character. i've looked up to rukia for so long and through my most crucial growing up years and it's like seeing my hero stand victorious. she's one of my favourite heroes of all time and absolutely my favourite female hero of all time. my heart is full. thank you tite kubo.
I really would like to see Shirosaki's commentary on the Ywach fight and how many times Zangetsu shattered.
Imo the funniest end for Aizen would be if he got to achieve his dream of becoming the Soul King, but as soon as he sits in the throne he ends up getting crystal-sealed just like the previous one

Bleach's final arc more like 'WHERE THE FUCK IS EVERYONE??!!!'
