words per day is a weird metric for me when i'm trying to track progress over long periods of time. technically, since the end of september, i've been averaging less than 400 words/day. but i don't write daily because my current schedule doesn't permit that. so maybe like three times a week if i'm lucky, i'm writing or editing something, and on a typical writing day, i'll add somewhere between 900-1500 words. but it's only because i'm putting stuff down less frequently that i'm even hitting those numbers at all, right?
