nicknames? so growing up i had a few scattered nicknames. My art teacher in elementary school called me MadFire, some assholes in middle school called me Satan (like i’m not even joking), and my flute teacher used to call me Chief. But Maddie is the only one I ever get called now.

long hair or short hair? Right now it’s long, but I go back and forth. I let it grow out and about every 3 years I cut off twelve inches and donate it, and both have their plus sides. I think I look better w/ short hair, but it can also be annoying bc you can’t do as much with it.

do you have any pets? BOY HOWDY LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT MY ANIMAL FRIENDS. at my childhood home we have three cats (Archie, Spidey, and Smudgie) and two dogs (Angel and Mason). And my horse, Champ, who is my baby/life partner/frenemy. Other pets that I’ve had include two cats, Barbie and Icky, and a husky named Louie, but they’ve all passed on.

what’s one thing you like about yourself? i’m fuckin hilarious. like i’m the most sarcastic piece of shit i know and I have a really dry/dark sense of humor and whenever i make a joke my friends laugh and me and shake their heads and they’re like “god damn it madison.” i sound like an asshole rn, but yeah
what did you do for your last birthday party? my mom bought me cookie cake and had it shipped to my dorm and my friends and i got ice cream and ate like kings it was delicious
what’s one thing you wish you could change about your life? I want to live alone like I am so sick of living with my family and having to constantly move all my shit every few months
what’s one thing you can’t wait for? ON AUGUST 8th I’M DOING A HUNTER PACE WITH SOME PEOPLE. it’s been like 5? years since my last hunter pace and i am so excited it was always my favorite thing to do. (for anyone who doesn’t know a hunter pace is like a fake fox hunt where you take your horse and ride around the woods for hours it’s gr8 and no animals are harmed)

have you ever talked to a person named Tom? Yes, there’s a Tom in my chemical engineering classes, he taught me fluids literally the day of our final and that was the first time I talked to him, and he has a shirt with a sloth on it GOD BLESS YOU TOM.
last time you saw your mother? I saw her last night before bed because my cat was sleeping on her bed and I wanted to kiss him.
first surgery? OK FUNNY STORY. my dad is a horrible sleepwalker, he’ll get up at like 2 AM and be like “IT’S TIME TO GO TO WORK.” So when I was like 3 or 4 and I still slept in my parents’ bed, one time he got up to sleepwalk and THREW ME OUT OF BED and I hit my mouth on their wingbacked chair next to the bed and knocked my four front teeth out. And they had to do surgery to like, realign my jaw and also put my teeth back in, but I don’t know why they wanted to put my teeth back in, they were baby teeth.

first best friend? when i was in kindergarten i was friends with this girl named caroline who lived in my neighborhood and we had another friend named mary jane who was like three years older than us who also lived in our neighborhood, it was gr8 times.
first sport you joined? my mom made me do soccer when i was like 5, it did not work out
first vacation? UGH so my family used to have this thing where we would go to Emerald Isle in North Carolina every summer for the 4th of July and we’d rent a beach house and chill there for a week. And when I say my family, I mean my entire dad’s side of the family consisting of like 20 people, including my horribly conservative grandparents, my aunt and uncle who are like 50 but still grope each other like horny teenagers, and my OTHER aunt and her three daughters who are all SUPER RELIGIOUS which is fine but they’re really obnoxious about it. Anyways that was my first vacation when I was like 3 and it continued every year until high school, when my grandfather refused to go anymore because Obama was reelected.

found out who your true friends are? sure, i got in a really shitty fight in october with someone who was a friend for like, 5 years, and they said some really shitty things and intentionally agitated my anxiety and depression SO I DON’T REALLY TALK TO THEM ANYMORE
