“i can’t breathe, i can’t –”
Woah.
He’d never seen someone flip out that badly at getting mud on themselves. Duncan took a moment to process what exactly was going on here. They had just went through a military style obstacle course; a trench with barbed wire filled with mud at the end.
Now, Dave was on the opposite team and had crossed the finish line at the same time Duncan had, but god.
This guy had a phobia of mud or something…
The punk had managed to get through with only his legs and forearms covered but Dave had gotten a good bit.
Yes he was on the opposite team.-that shouldn’t matter- Yes he shouldn’t care, he’s too tough for that.-Who was he kidding?- But.. Duncan spent no time in thought. He immediately slipped his shirt off, grabbed the smaller camper by the arm to stop him from moving too much, and started using his cleaner shirt to wipe off the mud.
“Dave, right? Man, quit strugglin’ it’s ok.. I got ya.”
He worked, glancing at his eyes every so often, trying to gauge if he was calming down at all. “We’re getting it off, it’s ok…” Yeesh, it was like Courtney and green jelly. He has a phobia of mud, doesn’t he?
“Inhale, Dude.. A’ight.. now blow out..”
