I really hope you expand on the blind!gojo dynamic, and would be really interested to see it in your omegaverse fic (if you choose to add it)
Your analysis was so cool too, and I definitely agree with everyone you said too!! One thing to add to this little discussion— in a world with blind!gojo and no powers, there could be an instance where HE becomes the star plasma vessel. I feel like this would add to what gojo would be that make him gojo, but also I think it would make the dynamic with him and getou so much more tragic.
If riko and gojo were vessels, and only riko died, would getou still be hell bent on destroying everything? Would he cast away gojo too because of his grief?

So hey, I am not entirely sure I understood this one correctly, but here are my thoughts.
If Gojo was a Star Plasma Vessel and Geto was tasked with escorting both him and Riko to the merger, and only Riko died, then I think Geto still goes on a genocidal rampage.
The difference is that his fall would revolve entirely around Satoru.
In that scenario, I do not think Geto becomes obsessed with creating a world for sorcerers. I think he becomes obsessed with protecting Gojo.
He would kill far more people than he ever did in that village in canon, because at that point protecting Satoru becomes more important to him than anything else.
Geto stops thinking about the problem in abstract terms. He knows sorcerers are suffering everywhere. He knows children are being used and discarded by the system every day. But all of those thoughts eventually circle back to Satoru. After watching Riko die, Geto becomes incapable of accepting that same fate for him, and before long Gojo becomes the centre of his universe—the root from which every dream of a better world grows.
So I imagine his insanity burns brighter, faster, and much more violently.
He kills more people. He makes bigger enemies. And eventually he dies trying to keep Gojo safe.
As for the other possibility, I think there are actually two different scenarios.
If Gojo becomes a vessel after Riko dies, and Geto is assigned to escort him afterward, I honestly do not think Geto is there to even accept the mission.
Either he died fighting Toji, or, if he survived, he defected almost immediately.
I personally believe the only reason Geto remained at Jujutsu High as long as he did after Hidden Inventory was because Satoru was still there.
Take Satoru away, and I think he leaves much sooner.
But if Geto survives, stays, and is then assigned to protect Gojo as a vessel after Riko's death?
Then I think he accepts the mission only because he has already decided Gojo is not making it to that merger. He hides him. He runs. He burns every bridge available to him. Because at that point Gojo becomes the twins. And the twins were Riko, he couldn't save her so he saved these two children. So, in this instance Gojo takes their place, just another child being fed to a system that has convinced itself the sacrifice is necessary.
And Geto has already seen how that story ends.
Either way, I think they are doomed before the story even begins.
Not because Geto loves Gojo in all universes.
But because Geto's fatal character flaw is that his protectiveness eventually becomes more important than the world he's trying to protect. He is a tragedy.

Has there ever been a slowburn Gojo/ Geto fic, even with Gojo as a single dad or just in College, with Gojo being blind or mostly? Like he wears blindfolds/ sunglasses, and his eyes are gorgeous (he doesnt seem blind because of the color of his eyes but he is), like everyone in college fawns over the new guy or some shit, but he‘s blind.
I love the ones that incorporate a story for Inumaki not talking, but what about Gojo? Are there fanfics?

He can’t recall what started it, what thread of conversation they were following the moment before—only how Satoru brings it all to a sudden halt.
“There’s so much to see while I still can.”
Suguru trips over his own two feet.
“Hey, careful Sugu—”
“What did you say?”
“Huh?” Satoru doesn't get it. He acts like it’s nothing. It’s not nothing. Suguru feels a hot bolt of irritation, maybe panic. He’s unsure exactly which but it’s a heady cocktail either way.
It’s just an offhand comment, a little-known fact about Satoru’s cursed technique: Six Eyes will burn out his optic nerve. He'll go blind eventually. And he has just... accepted that?
